Bird Farm Meats Inc — Local services in Ensley Township

Aparrently they pick and choose who they want to give good service to. This place has the worst customer service and a very poor selection. I was giving this place one more chance because of convience. I had gone there today intending on spending over 50 dollars on meat. I had taken a number and was waiting at counter for 10 minutes while person infront of me was ordering, ( it was only him and i at counter for most of his order) he finished and as he started walking away the lady who came in when guy was almost done went up to counter and started placing her order, never giving counter lady chance to call next number, and instead of counter lady saying one moment this lady has been here before you she just proceeded to take her order. I put my number on counter and as i was walking away i heard a snotty remark saying i needed to wait my turn, i turned and said i was 78 i had been waiting my turn, but you took the lady after me without calling any number. I will never step foot in this store, and i will tell everyone i know about my experiences here ( not the first rude encounter from this store) as a server i can spread the word pretty quick. Apparently if you look like you have money you will get good service here. The poor quality and limited selections, and rude service will have me happily driving the 15 extra minutes to SOBE...

Great little meat market. Love the bacon bits and pieces. Got everything we went for. One major concern at present is the fact that many customers were totally not staying 6 ft away from others. There was a young family in there with 3 young girls who were quite active. A few folks were wearing a mask or kerchief over their face. I would think Birds would limit the amount of people in the store on Friday and Saturday during their usual peak times. Not sure on method but perhaps ticket number outside and number lighting outside clearly for people to see. Check busy times and try to go early in the AM...

😉 my wife Karen and me have been shopping there for 20 years now you cannot buy fresher meat and they have homemade brats Cajun dogs and other things that little grocery store but mainly meat believe me I've had people friends go there and I happy that I send them there🐔🐷🐮🐟🐓 if you want special cuts of me special stuff ground they'll take care of you give it a try believe me you will not cry Price is Right wonderful people working there mrs. Bird the owner who's up in years like me still works few days a week what a beautiful face to see when you go there always happy try it buy it you'll be happy with...
