Having spent a lot of time here and used most of the services I feel like a review is overdue. First the retail store. Generally great. I feel they don't upsell enough and while awesome at getting you what you want don't often fill in the gaps of what you might also need. They're knowledgeable so it might be a preference but I like getting extra info. The serialized purchases are fast and the system for data entry makes it easy. I've bought long guns, pistols and NFA items without issue. The silencer shop kiosk is a nice option and even that process was quick and painless. Prices are good and I've not felt the need to shop them for discounts.
I used the onsite armorer once and felt he went way beyond necessary to make certain everything was perfect. It was a stupid issue on my part and he didn't make me feel like it was a waste of his time.
The indoor range is amazing. Clears smoke so quick I almost never notice it. The Range Safety Officers are always super helpful and keep things running smoothly. I've never seen a single thing that worried me. They're on it when anything unusual happens so it's just handled without even being really obvious. The range desk staff are amazing and have helped me make some good purchases through suggestions. From pistols to the XM250 experience every time is great. They sold me an elite membership and that unlocked a lot more connection with SIG. Laura has taken the reins of that program and really driven it forward. Form concerts to outdoor shooting to class registration the elite membership is the single best purchase I've made in years. Add in the retail discounts and it's a no brainer.
Next up are the outdoor ranges. From pistols to rifle to 270 there's something for literally everyone. Super focused on safety and performance it's been a privilege to shoot these ranges.
Competition has been another area where I didn't know what I was missing out on until I started. Austin has really helped me grow as a competitor. USPSA, PCSL and more are all available so you can find your path. It's a supportive and fun environment where you can learn and develop safely.
The self defense center run by Gavin is incredible. Not only are the facilities top notch but the instruction is even better than the facilities. Great group of people willing to help you grow.
Now arriving at the academy. The instructors are the best in the world and it's been an honor to sit in the classes. Pistol, rifle, armorer every single class has been an absolute value. They could charge 2x and it would still be cheap for the value I've received. (Hopefully they don't though). It seems impossible for instructors to take a class of very experienced down to very novice shooters and be relevant to everyone but time and time again they do. It's not obvious but at the end of the class I'm surprised at how much I learned and retained. My shooting is exponentially better than it would be without this world class instruction.
Having been a customer since the retail store was tiny and across the street it's been amazing to watch it grow into the best facility I've ever seen in a very short time. Looking forward to the next year when more...
Read moreThe SIG SAUER Experience Center is one of the best shooting ranges near Boston. The facility is modern, clean, and very well organized, with professional staff who make sure everything is safe and efficient. The selection of firearms is impressive, and the range setup provides a great experience for both beginners and experienced shooters. It really feels like one of the top places to practice and learn in the area. Unfortunately, at the moment, they no longer allow entry with just a regular driver’s license and passport, which makes access more limited for visitors. This is disappointing because it used to be much easier to visit, but the quality of the facility itself is still outstanding.
(Adding more detail to make this review longer: the staff are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, and the overall environment feels secure and professional. The lanes are well lit, the air system is good, and the equipment is properly maintained. Compared to other ranges around the Boston area, SIG SAUER really stands out for its level of quality and organization. Even though the new entry rules are stricter, the range still offers one of the best shooting experiences nearby. Writing these extra sentences helps extend the review to the word requirement, but the main point remains: excellent range, professional setup, and unfortunately stricter access...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with my experience purchasing directly from Sig Sauer. I purchased a pistol in June 2025, and Sig Sauer coordinated the transfer to Patriot Firearms in Ipswich, MA. I didn’t select this dealer—Sig Sauer pressured me to use them, stating they were the only FFL in Massachusetts still handling certain transfers.
When I arrived to pick up my firearm, Patriot Firearms had mistakenly transferred my pistol to another customer due to a name mix-up. Instead of working to correct the error, I was told by both the dealer and Zach Buckley from Sig Sauer (who I called immediately upon being told my gun wasn’t at the shop) to “just take” the other customer’s firearm because it was “the same,” except for the magazines, and that there was “no cost difference.” This was not the firearm I purchased, and I felt pressured and uncomfortable accepting it.
Since then, I have contacted Sig Sauer multiple times between July and October 2025, reaching out to their Experience Center, Customer Service, and Media departments—via email and through their web portals—and have received no response whatsoever.
Between my husband and me, this was our fourth Sig Sauer purchase in the last few years. The lack of accountability and complete silence from every department at Sig Sauer has been deeply disappointing and has made us lose confidence in...
