Erie Orchards - A Delightful Orchard Experience

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Erie Orchards, and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. Nestled in the picturesque countryside, this orchard exceeded my expectations in every way, offering a memorable day out for the whole family.

One of the highlights of Erie Orchards is undoubtedly the vast selection of fruits available. From crisp apples to juicy peaches and plump berries, the orchard boasts a wide variety of freshly picked produce. It was a joy to stroll through the orchard, picking my own fruit straight from the trees. The quality of the fruit was exceptional, bursting with flavor and freshness that can only be found in locally grown produce.

The staff at Erie Orchards were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. They provided helpful tips on fruit picking, guiding us to the best spots and sharing their expertise on different varieties. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit.

Beyond fruit picking, Erie Orchards offered a range of activities and attractions that catered to visitors of all ages. The pumpkin patch was a hit with kids, who had a blast selecting their favorite pumpkins for Halloween. The farm animals provided an opportunity for little ones to interact with and learn about different animals in a safe and educational environment.

The on-site market at Erie Orchards was a treasure trove of homemade treats and local products. From freshly baked pies and donuts to jams, jellies, and honey, there was something for every palate. The aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, tempting visitors to indulge in these delectable treats. The market also featured a variety of seasonal products, such as apple cider and caramel apples, adding to the charm and authenticity of the orchard experience.

The overall ambiance of Erie Orchards was inviting and idyllic. The sprawling orchard grounds provided ample space for visitors to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. Whether you're picnicking under the shade of a tree or taking a leisurely stroll through the orchard, the tranquility and serenity of the setting create a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

In conclusion, Erie Orchards is a hidden gem that offers a delightful orchard experience. With its abundant fruit selection, friendly staff, diverse activities, and charming market, it provides a perfect day out for families, couples, or anyone seeking a wholesome and enjoyable time. If you're looking to reconnect with nature, savor delicious fruits, and create lasting memories, Erie Orchards is the...

Erie Orchard is a long standing tradition and treat, for children and adults alike. Aside from apple and seasonal pumpkin picking, they offer up amazing apple cider and doughnuts! They also have hay and pony rides. This is an affordable and enjoyable weekend reprieve for any family.

However, I hope you are reading this Erie Orchard because shame on you! On the weekend of September 8th you refused to let my 6 year old little niece ride a pony because you said she was "too big" after weighing her. You then took back the ticket you had given her at the gate. Ponies can hold 15-20% of their body weight. She was nowhere near this percentage of weight. You made her feel ostracized, embarrassed, and ashamed of herself, to say the least. You need to have weight restrictions clearly posted, along with facts, i.e. a pony weighing this much can only carry a person weighing up to this much, etc. Don't give a child false hopes and then later make a public spectacle of them and how much they weigh. That is defined as prejudice. With proper signage in place, parents can proactively speak with their child in private. Your business is essentially contributing to bullying and all the other negative effects that come along with it, such as the rising number of teen and adolescent suicides. Also, you can potentially be sued for this because of the way in which you handled it.

I am a higher level guide on Google Maps. My reviews are always neutral, fair and honest. They are also posted with priority among others. I would have given you 5 stars had it not been for the incident mentioned above. I hope anyone who is considering a visit to your orchard reads this first. It would continue to be devastating if this happened to...

By the time we arrived (in the season) the only thing left for U-Pick was Golden Delicious Apples (luckily I really like those, lol). My friends and I were planning to just pick a few and then go through the corn maze. However, the plans quickly changed. We had so much fun actually walking up and down the rows of trees, climbing the ladder, semi-competing you could find/pick the more "perfect" apples. We eventually forgot about the corn maze and picked half a bushel. I dont have permission to share the pictures We also shopped in the gift shop/bakery. The apple cider was delicious and so was the caramel apple tart 😋. The price for the apples were hugh $26/half a bushel. But I feel we paid more for the experience than just the apples themselves, seeing as it was a first for all of us. Definitely would go again if I got the chance. Not to mention I saw a sign for blueberries, peaches, and pumpkin picking at different times of the year. And there's still the corn maze to check out next time...

The staff we encountered were all friendly. People from clearly different races and ethnicities were all enjoying our day yesterday, apple picking, hayrides, playing on the playground, etc. Someone makes a claim and people run with it. Reviews where people are leaving one star who have never been here should be removed, obviously. It’s hard to believe any business owner would tell someone they could pick for free and not pay for produce. With that said, I believe the store is somewhat overpriced here. Donuts and bakery goods, food items, baking mixes, jams, and the like are all expensive so we only bought a few items and probably won’t return to the store in the future. We did enjoy the playground and petting animals. It is a nice place to spend a few hours with your family!

My family had a great time here! We went on a hay ride, which they stopped and let us pick an apple each. My 2 year old daughter rode the pony, and had such a good time that she wants one of her own. Go figure. lol. The man running the strong man game needs absolute recognition! He is so amazing with the kids AND adults! It didn't matter how young or old, he made everyone feel like a winner. His energy never wavered. The doughnuts are perfected and the cider was amazing. The cookies were a little over done but everything else was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

This is always a family favorite. We visit in the summer to pick peaches and blueberries and then again in the fall for apples. You can't beat all of the extra activities that they have for kids, like the playground and animal feeding. It's an absolute must that you cannot leave without a few of their delicious donuts, apple fritters, and a refreshing cider slushie. I love the new addition of you pick flowers, they still look great on my kitchen table. We can't wait to come back once apples are in season.
