This is the ONLY place I'll get produce. I've lived here for my whole life and have been to all of the produce stands in the area. Nolichucky Produce has the best prices, best quality produce, and THE BEST customer service. They have the BEST triple sweet corn and silver queen corn(while it lasted) I've ever tasted! The corn is grown as local as it could possibly be from a grower literally less than a mile down the road. The corn is also picked fresh daily! Why pay more, have unripe/over ripe produce, and not get treated like family? I'm there MULTIPLE times a week getting produce and a Joe's Peach Tea. I'd rate 10 stars if I could. I also got my Mamaw one of their pieces of metal art. It is a bird house that looks like a little red barn nestled in a stalk of corn and she absolutely...
Read moreI purchased green beans there wed had my husnand go back the next day to purchase 40.00 more.He wasn't savvy about picking out the beans so he had an employee do it. About 1.5 lbs of the beans are even edible. The rest were old and tough. I also weighed the beans when he got home as it did not seem right. They were about 4 lbs short. My scale has been recently calibrated so it wasnt that. My frustration , I do not like being taken advantage. If you are an employee worthing at a produce stand you should no better to even sell those beans. Be careful on anything there you need to weigh as well. That is bad business ethics. Very...
Read moreGood produce. Wonder and delicious heirloom tomatoes. Watermelon and cantaloupe are wonder, cool and refreshing. The only thing missing this year is Dave Thompson triple sweet corn. We got 5 dozen from someone else they contacted with. It was no where as good as the Thompson farm corn. Plus they gave us the exact count of 60 ears and about 8 ears were bad. The corn was 6 dollars a dozen so that means the customer absorbs the cost of the loss and not them. I found out where Dave Thompson is selling his corn and that is where I will be buying my next 5 dozen at, which is Stanley Produce and at his home...
