Groundskeeping workers are extremely disrespectful . Numerous times my flower vases are thrown away for according to them not being in compliance, the rules state that flowers must be in plastic vases which are what mine are always in, even after numerous talks with the office and the groundskeeper supervisors my vases and flowers keep being thrown out each time . Supervisor assured me it wouldn't happen again but his team disregarded and threw everything once again .They don’t respect or follow their own policies . Save your money and for the sake of loved ones go somewhere else, office worker Cathy is very rude and dismissive Update 2/19/25 . Today i was told by the really rude groundskeepers that flowers will no longer be allowed in the niches . This is unbelievable how is it possible that after paying thousands of dollars we cannot have flowers for our loved ones . .

A groundskeeper, noticed the flower cups needed to be replaced so he offered to replace them for us. Thank You Sir.

Beautiful, big and peaceful cemetary with lots of space to pray, reflect, and give thanks with your loved ones. Lots of well-watered, soft, green grass to sit and/or lay on with family and friends. Plenty of large trees provide natural shade on hot, bright days.

Oak Hill Memorial Park is home to the North County Cemetery District Office, which serves Escondido, San Marcos, most of Vista, and the surrounding areas. The main office is opened from 8 am to 4:30 p.m. There are bathrooms to the side of the main office, which are open Monday through Friday until 4:30 pm. This cemetary is located right next to Orange Glen high school, less than half a mile away. It is situated on the outer limits of Escondido, right next to a residential neighborhood. Accordingly, the cemetary is very very quiet. The combination of the peaceful ambiance, the happy and green trees and grass, and the beautiful weather makes for a perfect place to pray, reflect, and give thanks.

The Oak Hill Memorial Park Cemetery gates are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Gates are open from 8:00...

We buried my parents and a few friends at this cemetery because it looks beautiful with all the trees and flowers. Recently they changed their policy. I heard they now throw all the flowers away on the 15th of the month. I spend a lot of money on silk flower because I can't get there every month and the whole purpose of silk flower is that it last. I understand if it's old or faded then of course throw it away but to throw it away just because it's the 15th of the month doesn't make sense at all. That means if you go put flowers on the 14th, the very next day it WILL GET THROWN OUT. It's a stupid policy. I hope more people will start complaining so they will change their policy. If the silk or real flowers look nice then leave it alone. There's a lot less flowers now and it doesn't look as nice as it use to. For this reason I gave it a 3 star...
