Worst Nursing Home Ever Friend was in Estill, SC I have Power of Attorney yet Staff contacted Family Members to disclose information. Patient had a non working call button for 9+ months ( whole call system was broken) & received a 3 inch bell to ring if help was needed. Patient wrung bell 3 hours no response Spoke with Staff Several Times about Safety Concerns Staff Replied its an Administrative Problem that they are off the clock. Called office Several times no one answers or returns phone calls. Staff monitors all Patients calls and refuses to leave room for personal phone calls. Patient was billed for 7+ Speech Therapy Visits which Patient does not remember any of them she had a leg amputation no problems with speech at all requested itemized billed for all services never received anything just bills. Requested in Writing patient records Several times staff says takes 30+ days receiving office says should take 1 week tops not received as of 6/12/23. Please be Careful when removing your loved one from this facility. I spoke with Head Staff over Billing who threatened me that if I removed the patient from their facility she would call DSS on me for Abuse get the patient a new Power of Attorney even though the patient was free to leave the doctor released her said they have done all they can if she wanted to go home she can.
The patient was in this facility for 9 months it was a disaster I had false alligations against me which I have paper work proving. DSS Working waiting in Patients drive when we got home.Yet the client was sent home with 3 scripts pads of Medications that were written incorrectly wrong dose medication order for oxygen that noone could say why she needed it or how to get it pharmacy couldnt read would not fill took almost 1 month to get a hold of doctor to fix neglect on their part but point fingers at others. Higher up Staff have nasty attitude try get patient get credit card # over the phone when asked what for & what staff i got hung up on Patient signed forms had no idea what they where and she got no copy. I put in request for patient not sign forms without PA got ignored. I would love to have someone contact me there is plenty more I would like to discuss because not only was patient done wrong so was the PA
Patient remote to TV battery dead staff had to put in maintence order for new batteries dollar general down the street patient in bed no remote
Spoke with Staff about portable toilet being nasty the result is pot went missing told patient didn't have another one so use diapers.
Patient had mattress for bed sores when transfered to shared room from private no matress.
Patient on oxygen asked why said she came with it oxygen machine in room kept getting bigger requested patient be tested why oxygen was needed patient was not short of breath with it off at all came home with order but no oxygen never got straight answer file says conjested heart failure doctor said if she really needed it she would have been hospital by now she been home since Feb 2023 no oxygen no problems

Patient called from personal phone begging PA to drive 3 hours to shut lights off so she can sleep hadn't seen staff member since 6 pm. Had patient change to pruitt health pharmacy insurance yet she would never reach deductible for pruitt to pay any of the bill never benefit the patient Staff turnover was unreal in just 9 months rarely Spoke with same staff more than once. Patient told staff multiple times she wanted to die which is very serious never reported patient never evaluated. Staff denies all
Patient has an outstanding 50,000 bill Spoke with billing at admission and told bill was being paid. And they paying to board her animals which I knew was a lie cause I was taking care of them myself. I don't no how a nursing home can stay open conducting...
