I made a tee time for four for Monday Sept 7th at 08:52. I phoned this tee time in the preceding Monday, Aug 31st. Upon check in and payment the morning of Sept 7th I was greeted by an unprofessional and gruff Alan. When I announced I'm an Estrella resident, Allan informed me there was a problem with my Tee Time. The problem was that it was made 7 days in advance and therefore disqualified me from the resident discount. Allan's disposition was neither professional nor courteous. In fact, Allan appeared quite happy to inform me that I was not eligible for the discount. He further advised that the over flow call center my reservation was made through (because they were too busy to take my direct call) further complicated the matter. I asked why they didn't announce that Residence's need to book within 5 days when I called. Allan had no answer for that other than he didn't care. Additionally, the 4th member of my group phoned his reservation in on 9/2 for our 08:52 tee time. Again, Allan balked at his resident rate. Furthermore, my fourth was incorrectly added to an 08:30 foursome vs with us (That's two blunders on a single add). The cart boys and team suggested that normally, the pros provide the resident rate despite the booking date. Needless to say the four of us were pretty unhappy and dissatisfied with Allan and his ability to think outside the box. Zero Empathy and zero professionalism. ...

Played on 10/4/11. The course and practice facility gets a 4.5 rating from me. The clubhouse gets a 4. If you wanted to just go play golf and enjoy the scenery. This is a very good course for the area. The clubhouse doesnt have a high end grill for you like some of the other high end clubs to unwind after the round. Course condition was excellent. The back nine is incredible. I love 16, 17, and 18. What a way to finish. Fairway is wide open but you can't cheat by rolling on the green from the fairway. Most of the Greens require you to be accurate. For $35 we got unlimited golf + lunch from their grill. Had a great time and would definitely come back. For the money, you get a very high end course and Troon's courses are always nice. Can't beat that. If you want to pay a little more, head over to Raven Verrado. But you can't beat...

Updated: played in early Sept & it’s in really good shape. A couple of greens are struggling but overall, it’s in good shape.

Original review: We came out on Election Day to avoid politics for a few hours, and of course the starter AGAIN leads with political banter, saying “Antifa is going to attack the US” nonsense and right after my friend says “lets not talk politics.”

Then he says “I’m not saying who I voted for but he matches my (orange) shirt.”

Somebody take away this guys talk radio.

As a Vet I want to reiterate that there’s nothing more pathetic than scaredy-cat, weak minded white guys who watch Fox News who allow themselves to be conned into being afraid of their shadows.

Cart girl was great. Love the course but I won’t be returning until that clown Is no longer...
