Just left from here. When I walked in 15 minutes til close, the cashier Mary was loudly making comments to her [line of 4] customers that it was time for them to lock the door. This made me feel very embarrassed and unappreciated as a customer. I literally went in for ham & bread so it took me two minutes. That two minutes didn't affect her whatsoever. So, I quickly grab my items and get in Mary's line. As she's waiting on me, another customer walks in and she again making comments - this time [passively aggressively] to the lady - that she has 3 minutes. She also comments about the vehicles in the parking lot how they need to go in if they're going to. THIS is why I never go to Champagne's! Plus, the store looks old and dated. I've heard they have a good bakery and meat market, but I'm afraid to try them. (Think of the book:"Broken Windows Broken Business") Nonetheless, I'm sure Mary is a great employee and maybe she was merely stressed with both hurricanes approaching, and was eager to get off of work to make her own preparations.
