I love this cabin. I stayed at the Hideaway Cabin (not Hilltop Hideaway) which is on the same property but with a different entrance just a hop down the road. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. I was in town for a wedding but have been wanting to check out Eureka Springs for a couple years now, and thankfully so has my sister who was getting married there. I plan on making this a annual vacation spot to unwind, the town is almost unbelievable, lots of hills and gravel roads, friendly people, and fantastic views, the cabin is neat and clean, in fantastics shape and has a hot water heater capable of filling the jacuzzi tub in the master loft with no issue plus the more than one person shower with two shower heads. Full kitchen, only missing a dishwasher (but there is a drying rack under the sink and many large clothes on the counter); bathroom had multiple large towels and bath mat, plus plenty of hand towels. Trash cans in kitchen, bathroom, and upper loft sleeping area, with more bags in the kitchen. The cabin doesn't just have the porch that wraps around the front (covered plus fan) but also a side deck (uncovered) with hammock, and a Juliet type balcony you can step off onto off the loft bedroom, right off that door is an open closet area with racks and shelves. Two TVs, upper and lower, satellite and internet, not the fastest, but helps make sure you can send and receive messages. A severe thunderstorm warning (perfect sleeping weather) came through with the potential of baseball size hail, thankfully the hail passed and this cabin did a perfect job of staying cozy and solid, I live in a brick home and was honestly surprised at how well this cabin made it seem like a calm to strong shower. To reiterate, perfect cabin. Owners are friendly and just a text away, didn't need anything extra, just shot off a text as I was leaving. Oh, they use keypad deadlocks so you don't even need to check in or out with anyone, they email you all the info a couple days before check-in. Only thing they ask you do is to clean and put away dishes and put the used towels in the bathroom. There is a larger trash can on the steps by the entrance door. Oh, and the kitchen had plenty of cups, plates, cutlery, paper towel roll etc. I'm looking forward to my next visit, maybe this fall; this might become a twice a year cabin for me. Oh! the bed was ridiculous soft (yet firm?), so were the pillows (eight of them) and the blankets (four of them). I might hop in the truck and head...
Read moreWe have had a wonderful stay at Enchanted Forest. We stayed in their Hilltop Hideaway cabin and it's absolutely beautiful. You feel alone, with only minor sightings of others as they drive around the curve. The wrap around porch is perfect (just be wary of wasps), and they have a nice fire pit (bring your own chairs and wood for it!)
The inside is SPOTLESS. I have stayed in multiple hotels and a handful of cabins and this has been my cleanest stay. No dust, dirt or bugs. The sheets were clean and the towels are thick and nice. The giant tub fit my 6'1 250lb husband and my chubby short self with no issue.
We only saw the owner at checkin but she was very kind and wonderful, with tips and suggestions on favorite spots to go. We have been to ES once before but appreciated the extra suggestions!
The resort is close to a major highway, so you can hear the traffic if you sit on the porch. It isn't a complaint, just something to note if you were wanting to feel COMPLETELY isolated. :)
We have loved our stay and hope to book here again.
Oh! And PLEASE go explore their cave. The trail through the woods is amazingly peaceful and that cave is incredible. Even got to see some...
Read moreI canât say enough good things about this resort. My husband and I stayed for our 24th wedding anniversary. We were looking for something secluded and quiet for the weekend and the Enchanted Forest exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Hilltop Hideaway cabin. The cabin was perfect for us. As far as cleanliness, it could not have been cleaner. Huge shout out to the cleaning staff. When we arrived it was late and weâre having difficulty finding the cabin. I phoned the owners not thinking I was really going to get anyone to answer that late. The phone was answered within two rings and they stayed on the phone with us and walked us through how to get there without acting as though we were a burden. The walk to the cave is a must. Be sure and bring walking shoes (it is rocky). I would recommend a good flashlight as well to walk through the cave as it is very dark the further back you walk. We will definitely be back and for a longer stay next time. I will be recommending this resort to our family and friends. Thank you for...
