Stopped on the afternoon of 10/30/22 around 3pm on our way to Eureka Springs because we had bought this candy before a few years ago. Was very disappointed. Not what I remembered at all. I bought butterscotch, raspberry and mocha type chocolates and they had zero flavor. You couldn’t tell which flavor was what because there was no flavor. The chocolate coating is way too thick and extremely hard. In addition, candy is way too expensive compared to the poor quality. Sadly the customer service wasn’t much better. There was a young guy and a young girl working. The young guy made me wait extraordinary long without any acknowledgment or offering any assistance and I was the only customer in the lobby. The young girl walked in and was going to help me and he told her no that he had it. Apparently he didn’t and I would of much rather dealt with girl after being ignored so long by him. When he finally did assist me, instead of handing me my bag after paying like a seller should do, he intentionally placed my bag in front of the tip jar as if hinting to me to leave him a tip! Really! Wow! Here’s a tip: Don’t ignore your customers when you see they are in the lobby whether they are ready for assistance or not! You should always acknowledge your customers at all times!!! I looked at you several times and you intentionally ignored me until the girl walked in and saw me and she was going to come out and help me and you told her no! Poor and such disrespectful service! Sadly the taste of the candy didn’t help the whole experience any better. I do NOT recommend...
Read moreI was driving by and wanted to stop. The family has been making chocolates and candies for decades generation after generation. The chocolates are sold by the pound and a bit pricey but it is delicious. That means the bigger heavier chocolates like the coconut almond bars are going to add up to a pound a lot quicker than something like the cherry cordials. So you may want to keep that in mind when making your selections. If you like though, they'll weigh your stuff mid selection so you can find out your total. Then you can decide from there to stop or keep getting more. They also have the sponge candy which is one of my favorites. So was excited about that. Stop in and check them out at the very least...
