Country Club Market — Local services in Eureka

It's nice having a little market that has most items, that's closer than the chain stores. The meat and sandwiches are second to none.😋 What I appreciate the most is the staff. I pop in often for this or that and the staff are always kind and polite, I've even witnessed a clerk with a very difficult customer and the customer service the clerk displayed was amazing. I've worked with the public on different levels throughout my adult life and my training was long and intensive, this clerk seemed to exhibit that same level of training although she was most likely simply a natural at customer service. This is really a nice little community market, not too pricey for quick stops and a meat market with counter and butcher service that is on competitive par with the prices at WinCo (IOW, cheaper than most regular supermarkets in the area).

If you have a special request for a particular cut of meat... This is the place. They also have bundle specials for beef, pork, and chicken!

All in all, a friendly, well stocked market with competent staff just a block off the freeway at the Humboldt Hill offramp, and open until 9pm everyday!
