Dollar General — Local services in Eva

This is my second bad experience at this one. I can’t be the only one that feels like I bother the employees just by shopping there or having to check out.

Today my coupon didn’t work. Even though she says it did. I added it three times and it did not work. I politely went in and explained that and said I will be happy to show you so we can fix it or return whatever is easier for you. The manager came and just pointed at savings and said yeah well you aced money so it worked. I said I have added it several times it did not work that’s the savings on drinks not my coupon. She then said we’ll show the thread. I said ma’am It’s a coupon. I showed her the coupon where it says by one get one free and even the total on my cart. I said well can I just return it if it’s not on sale. She then raised her voice at me and everyone I the store looked and said I’ll do it this time never again. I said well I’m sorry but it’s not my fault it won’t work like it says and age aid well not mine either ! I’m sorry but it’s her job. I wasn’t rude or anything just simply wanted my money back if the coupon wasn’t going to work. She made me feel like I was wrong. This same manager was complaining about a customer asking for help when I walked in and she stated “ oh he don’t want to get me started “ when the poor offer man was simply asking about a sale I go to dg stores several times a week. I won’t be back or spending any money to support a brand that treats long time curlers like this.

This is after last month when I got in line ten minutes before closing. When I made it to the front they said they were closed like it was my fault that they didn’t check me out yet and made me walk and put all my items back and wouldn’t check me out. This store is...
