Spomer Bison Ranch — Local services in Evans

To the people that are complaining about the bison "Trouble", he is not starving, is not under weight, and you need to go back to the history of when buffalo roamed, did they have shelter NO. I think most of you are just straight city people, and don't know a dang thing about agriculture or animals. Proceed with Caution! I initially would have said good things about Spomer Bison Ranch but over the last few months my horses and the horses around them all started losing significant weight. My horses are easy keepers and have not dropped weight at any other facility. Any time I would stop by my horses would be out of hay. I brought up my concerns hoping my horses would be fed more but to no avail. I was told they would be switched to alfalfa (they were not). I was told they would be fed more (they were not). The pictures attached are not my horses but similar to how the majority of the horses looked coming out of winter (a very mild winter). I came here to purchase a horse from one of the ranches boarders. I was amazed by this place. It was clean and had an old-timer vibe to it that made the place feel like home in a since. It was a pleasure talking with the owner of the ranch who actually ended up helping us in the process of getting this horse to where it was going.
