A great ride even if it is short. My first experience was on an old GPS when the road just stopped with no indication of a ferry until we finally got there. I've taken this trip it many times in both directions. This weekend I didn't get to take it. I was 2nd in line going west to east when a car on the ferry caught fire. It was an inferno with tires popping, gasoline and diesel fuels burning. They may be closed for the rest of 2015 but they'll be back again in...

This is actually a pretty cool thing to go do if your in the area. Kids loved it and it was cheap to ride. Found by accident just by digging around on Google Maps to find things to do in the area on a nice fall day. Doesn't take long at all to get across if you need to use it to just cross the lake.
