The Town Market — Local services in Excel

Awesome small town store!! Here you get the small and personal atmosphere with fantastic friendly service. No one can touch the meat department on fresh cut meat and variety of selection. If you don't see what you're looking for simply ask and they'll get it or custom cut for you. That's if you even have to ask, because someone will probably have already stopped to ask if there's anything they can do for you. You can also call ahead with any special request, and it'll be package and waiting on you to pick up. They're my favorite go to when I have no idea what to cook for supper. Due to the fresh ready to cook marinated meats or pre-made main dish meats that are prepared on premises. Not shipped in and frozen. Then you add in what a great time saver. You have a no brainer on the best little market to shop at. Oh and don't want to cook at all? There's also a Hunts pizza inside! It's a win win with this...

I was just passing through and needed a snack and a coke. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed. Like there was a friendly Spirit in the air. Maybe that sounds crazy, but it's true.

Someone or many someones take pride in this store. It wasn't flashy. It was neat and clean with lots of handmade price tags and even a note near the register reminding me to check my antifreeze in my car and my heater at home. It felt like the owner cared about their customers.

Most small markets jack up their prices. But I'd say that many of the prices I saw could compete with Walmart and outcompete Winn-Dixie.

Very clean. Very open, and nicely laid out. Young lady at register very nice and polite.. I enjoy shopping local, and I am glad this little grocery is here, in excel..
