This place is a function destination, and for what it is, it's pretty good. We attended a basic event, serving hot dogs and chicken. It's cooked over wood fire pits, and served family style at picnic tables. Their menu says they also do clam and lobster bakes, but we didn't do that so I cannot rate that. The staff was helpful and friendly.
My one bone to pick with the place is since it says "barbeque" on the sign, I was hoping for smoked barbeque, like pulled pork, pork/beef ribs, and maybe beef brisket. Served clam cakes so overcooked the server should have been embarrassed to put them on the plate. I took on bite and thew them out. And what's with serving diced onions in used food service containers? What could it be? A boullion container? ...
