This dental office is highly recommended. It's run by a husband and wife power team, Caleb and Megan Beam. They both have an amazing skillset, yet they also know their lanes and are not afraid to refer you to a specialist if needed which I feel is an utmost important trait to have as a doctor to prevent mistreatment.
I went in needing an implant, which one of my friend's raved about having their office help me. It was assuring that Dr. Caleb Beam knew it was beyond his skillset, as I needed my jaw and gums repaired beforehand, and he referred me out to a facial surgeon. Afterwards, Caleb did install a crown onto that implant, and he was also very skilled in repairing a temporary bridge I had. The crown looks great, and he spent a lot of time making sure it fit perfectly.
I also liked this office because they have some state of the art equipment in a nicely updated facility. I noticed that the dental hygienist were using brand new dental equipment which my old office did not have.
The only improvements this office could make are they only work with a select amount of insurance companies. I do understand there aren't enough dentist in this are right now so they rightfully can choose to not work with difficult insurance companies. They also misinformed me on my insurance benefits when I was speaking to the front desk for my crown procedure; this is a common occurrence with many dental offices, and they were able to then rerun my insurance after they understood my procedure was a covered benefit.
As a business owner myself who specializes as being a health insurance agent, I wouldn't hesitate to have any major dental work done at Fairchance Dental Arts. Their prices are reasonable, they have proven to be a very skilled office, and their updated equipment makes this dental office one of the best private practices in the Greater Morgantown and Pittsburgh Area. This office is a...
Read moreI am new patient after, my dentist, Dr. Weimer retired. When entering the building, the office is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the office staff is very welcoming & friendly. I had a very through exam with a deep clean, and with the exception of the pandemic year, I see the dentist every 6 months, the dental hygienist assigned to me was named Gionna and she did such a fantastic job the majority of the surface stains on my teeth are gone. I’m so pleased with the care I received that my entire family will be coming here (husband and two daughters ages 6 & 8). I met with both Drs. Beam & both were awesome & down to earth. ——- Updated 10/3/23 Dr. Megan is great with children, Gionna has always taken great care of me and my children, however cost are not up front. They do not work with all insurances. The front office staff is superficial, rude and will wait until the last minute to tell you pertinent information such as, “by the way, your daughters have an orthodontic appointment tomorrow and you’re going to owe $1750… or by the way there’s an appointment tomorrow but you have a back balance of whatever—- that TWO insurances didn’t cover and they literally wait until the very last minute. When you attempt to address the fact that earlier notice would be better you are told, “if you don’t like our care go elsewhere.” Quoted by Cindy who made it very clear that she has been doing her job for 32 years. As far as she is concerned Fairchance dental arts is only held up by her back bone and her back bone only. I have never had so many insurance issues at a dr or a dentist or anywhere really, especially considering I have paid insurance- which accounts for nothing anymore. So if you don’t care how you are treated in the front of the house, by all means go here, but you only deal with the dental staff for a fraction...
Read moreIf I could describe my experience with Fairchance Dental Arts, it would be that it was life changing. I came to their practice with a dental partial, due to having 2 gaps on both sides of my front teeth. I’ve always been very sensitive with smiling and speaking, I had been dealing with the dental partial for the last 22 years. At the first visit, they were so kind, compassionate, and really wanted to help me figure out a permanent solution. It was after that first appointment that I could finally see the hope of having a beautiful smile. It was decided that I could do 12 weeks of Invisalign Treatment, then do Veneers. Every step of the process was easy and smooth. I always knew and felt I was in great hands with Dr. Megan and her team. With the Invisalign, they were able to fill the gaps with composite teeth and was even able to get temporary teeth placements so I could go out to eat with my husband. At the trial smile, I was able to see what the end result was going to be, and my mind was blown. It looked so natural, and I could not believe that it was my smile in the mirror. I feel like this was the smile I was always supposed to have, and Dr. Megan and her amazing team were able to make my dream come true. Every single member of her team has impacted my life, her amazing assistant, the wonderful front office desk ladies, and the incredible hygienists who are so knowledgeable and helpful. I could never thank this team enough for what they have done for me. My dental journey with the Beam Team has truly been...
