Herman and Luther's was the perfect venue! We are from NYC and as soon as we saw the grounds, read the reviews, and met with Becky, we knew it was the place and worth the travel. And we were right. Herman and Luther's was actually a little outside our search radius, but food was a big decision factor for us and based on the reviews we read that was what made us go out to do a visit in the first place. The food ended up being incredible! Our guests are still talking about it and there was sooooo much, too. Every space they have is naturally beautiful so we knew we would be just as happy no matter what the weather situation might be. Becky was incredible and the most helpful from the beginning and leading through to the actual day. She is extremely responsive and was so wonderful and helpful when we had to make a game time decision on moving our ceremony onto the patio and out from the field do to a chillier and windier day than expected. The staff was so friendly throughout the entire night. The crown jewel of the venue, though, is the Carriage House for getting ready. It was what sealed the deal for us on our initial visit. It is stunningly renovated and so perfect for hanging out with your bridal party the morning of. There's a separate space for both sides with a communal space in the middle. We set up lawn games outside as well.... and they cater throughout the morning and afternoon. The time we spent there getting ready and hanging out with our friends and family was a real highlight of the day. We didn't see any other venue that had a similar space. All of our guests had to travel in one capacity or another and no one batted an eye once they got to the venue. They understood why. And its proximity to Downtown Williamsport makes for a fun weekend stay with just enough to keep you busy. They also have fun add ons and the bonfire with smores was a major hit with our guests. Herman and Luther's is gorgeous and unique and provides a wonderful open canvas to build the wedding of your dreams. We cannot recommend this...

We visited Herman and Luther’s 2 and half years before our wedding date and from the first tour we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The day after our visit we placed our security deposit. Becky was amazing to work with from day one, the tour she gave was great and advised us of the new features that would be in place by the time our wedding was to take place (August 2019). The new features were a brand-new luxury tent for cocktail hour and the carriage house for getting ready the day of the wedding. We visited many times during our two and half year wait to the wedding and each time we were there Becky and George were willing to ask any questions and provide great service. Becky even provided a tour to both of our families that was not necessary but very much appreciated! We also decided to book the venue for our rehearsal dinner, which was yet another great choice! Anything we needed Becky and George provided as soon as possible and helped tremendously with everything. The rehearsal dinner was pizza and wings, again so many options to choose from. The food for the rehearsal dinner was cooked right in front of you in the stone oven. Everyone raved about the food and how great the service was. The carriage was worth every penny the day of the wedding. It has one side for the girls and one for the guys and a common place with a bar and table that is so convenient. It was such a nice place to get ready and our wedding party said how great it was! The food was amazing, we had many guest come to us and say it was the best wedding food they have ever had (Thanks to George and crew). The staff could not have been nicer and Becky was there for anything that we needed and could not have asked for better service from everybody involved. The venue was perfect from start to finish. I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings at Herman & Luther’s since they first opened, and every time I’m reminded why it’s one of my favorite venues. The space is so versatile, it works beautifully for intimate celebrations as well as large, lively weddings. The getting ready suites are spacious, full of natural light, and perfect for capturing those emotional pre-ceremony moments.

The staff here is incredible, always professional, kind, and quick to help with anything that comes up. From a photographer’s perspective, that makes a huge difference on a wedding day. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. I’ve heard countless guests rave about their meals, and it’s always a highlight for couples (and myself).
