BourbonTown Tours — Local services in Fairfield

I was traveling to Louisville with a large group of family and needed transportation and guidance in putting together an itinerary that would be educational, fun and of course full of bourbon. Spoke with Shelby who worked with me to develop a game plan that would handle all my needs. Our itinerary over four days included airport transfers, VIP bourbon distillery tours, trips to Churchill Downs, a wonderful horse farm where race horses go to retire, Muhammad Ali Museum, Louisville Slugger Tour lunch and dinner suggestions and reservations. The restaurant’s spanned from down home dining with live music to high end restaurants as well as late night Speak Easy night caps. Planning was seamless through Bourbon Town Tours. They asked all the right questions and could not have built a better trip for me.

I travel with my family and usually handle all details myself. I just really preferred and required help on this trip. I’m looking forward to returning to Kentucky as I didn’t realize what a great state it really is and will be sure to use Bourbon Town Tours again! ...

We booked Bourbon Town Tours for two different days of touring. Ron was so patient and helpful with all the emails I sent back and forth many, many times. For our first day of touring, Ron planned it all. The distilleries he recommended were excellent as well as the location for lunch. For our second day, we booked everything and Ron provided a driver/van. We were lucky enough to get the same driver - Jon - both days. Jon was extremely patient, knowledgeable, professional, flexible, fun and everything else you want in an individual that is responsible for making sure that your vacation goes well. The van that we rode in was very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised to find that Jon had umbrellas which came in handy when a down pour hit and some of us had not thought to prepare for rain. Shelby and Dan took great care of us, from the moment I called from Canada to book our tours, Bourbontown Tours was very professional, helpful, and fun. Shelby worked with me on an aggressive custom schedule for our group of four couples, secured all the tour tickets, and prepared an itinerary that was workable. She could not have been more fun to work with. Dan was our driver for both days of our tours and was impeccable. Dan steered us in the right direction on the highways, backroads, and even when we were on foot at the distilleries. We were lucky enough to hit “Blanton’s Day” at Buffalo Trace and it was busy, Dan managed our group through getting some bottles before the tour (while the getting was good) and stored them for us while we toured.
