This âFarmâ is literally not an actual farm. It seems to be operating in a large backyard. Iâve been to many pumpkin patches and this was not the experience of a farm. Theyâre not organized, there are literally 2 Goat only on this âFarmâ and Daytime haunt is not a haunt. People complained on the hayride about having a so called farm with no animals. Everything cost additional, granted itâs small cost but it adds up. Honestly it should just be free admission because youâre not paying for anything other than going down a slide and a quick hayride and tumble thatâs all you get with admission. Parking was all over the place. Water is $1 as is small Gatorade bottles. The pumpkin sling shot is 3 pumpkins for $2. The so called haunted maze is just a ton of garbage bags and haystack walk through with a few Halloween props for $5 PP. It isnât worth it. Just go somewhere else for Halloween fun. My kids did not enjoy it, we stayed for less than 2 hours and thatâs because there was a line for everything. We got our pumpkins and left. No prop area for photos or anything. We came from Brooklyn over here and...
Read moreWhile itâs a nice farm and I do recommend people go, they also need to get their things in order. Itâs so disorganized and in turn makes for an unfair experience. My daughter went to the pumpkin launch and was the only child with tickets that I paid extra for. The older woman comes out and starts yelling at them and makes my daughter cry. She then didnât even want to take her turn at that point ruining our time at the farm. What does the woman do to solve this problem? She gives ALL the other kids free launches that they did NOT pay for.
So explain how I paid for them to go 4 times (12 pumpkins) but then you make my kid cry and then give everyone else free launches.
Besides this, after I calmed her down, we had a decent time. Itâs small but cute.
If they get their stuff together and can make sure they have enough staff for everything, it wouldâve been a much more...
Read moreI went to Fairfield farms yesterday, their opening day for the season. We showed up a few hours after they opened to find they were still not fully setup, things in the market not ready or for sale. I also found it interesting that they do not sell any of their own produce but instead other local farmsâ (what is grown on the farm?).
Overall, the main reason I was disappointed was the cost versus what was described on the website. Corn maze was not a maze (just a plowed one-directional path), the slingshot was fine (but an extra cost), and very few animals. Someone else commented this and I agree- it looks like someone decided to do this in their backyard, charge a whole lot, and not really give you back an experience that matches. I would recommend Holland ridge, Eastmont farms and many others in Jersey who have great activities, apple picking, food...
