B & B Pecan Co — Local services in Fairhope

My husband and I keep meaning to stop by B & B Pecan, whenever we pass, going down Greeno/98 and we finally did so today. I'm so glad we did! We were able to meet Mr. Clarence Bishop, who is now 92 years old, and who was so friendly and welcoming. He invited us to see the back area, where the production of the pecans happens and shared with us how their family business began. He was very proud of it all, showing us the pecan shelling machines that were originally purchased in the 1950's, when they first opened for business. I grew up in nearby Pensacola, while my grandparents were from Baldwin County, Andalusia and Atmore, who all had pecan trees in their yards when I was a child, so several of the items in the retail store were a special reminder to me of them. To say it was a treat to meet him is an understatement. The bonus, the delicious bag of milk chocolate pecans we bought and another bag of plain pecans we'll be using this evening for a salmon recipe. A side note, their gift tins are beautiful and they have some delicious flavors to offer in jellies. Really good place that has very good food lots of items to pick from miss joe is very nice and will help in any way far as job wise the manger will lie to your face I was told I will be help driver for a bay route and they have space I picked up 3 extra trucks and took them to the warehouse I get a call about an employee Lieing on me and the next thing I no following day I was let go due to the route not needing help and no more trucks which is a lie watch out for the manger he has snake ways and the worker is out to get everyone fired it was a very bad experience for someone who did nothing wrong and did the job the right way the guy ED is racial profiling and the Management went right with...

Bad experience with this company. Placed an order on 12/15/14 for a Christmas delivery. The postal service lost the package and B & B refused to file a claim or refund my money. It is only $92 but the person that the gift was for did not get a present from me because of the Postal Serive and the lack of Customer Sericve by B & B. They told me that there was nothing they could or would do.

Use caution when placing orders with this company as they use the Postal Service for delivery which is very unreliable. One your shipment is lost you re on your own and, like me, will most likely loose any money you...
