Elk Valley Golf Course — Local services in Fairview Township

Made three tee times a week in advance. 2 days before I called the clubhouse to cancel two of those tee times as our group dwindled down to four guys. The person who took the call asked me which of the 3 tee times we would like to keep and I told him the middle one. He said everything was fine, told me that they appreciated me giving them 48 hours notice. Flash to Sunday morning when we show up and they tell us we were not on the tee sheet. I told the guy what happened, he said maybe I called the wrong course lol. I told him he was wrong He said "I don't know what to tell you bro, someone made a mistake" We asked him to make it right and fix it, he got angry raised his voice asking us how he supposed to do that.

Anyway lucky for us Green Meadows offered to work us on to their tee sheet an hour later. And perhaps even more lucky for me I now have the ammo I need to convince a separate league I play at Elk Valley to move somewhere else...

I played last weekend and expected an ok golf experience but I was completely wrong. Had three groups in front of us that would not let us go past them as they hit the ball a solid 15 yards every shot. I found it interesting as the pace of play is posted on the score card but clearly not adhered to at all. When we went in for the turn to grab food the bartender did great but the new shift coming in was not so great as I was told I should leave. The course had blue tee markers out but only on certain holes so you had to swap to white tees on holes. As a 90 degree rule was in effect the cart paths bottomed out the golf carts at certain points and had huge holes and ruts that made it...

I’ve golfed here five times so far this summer. It’s a decent enough course but today when I went to worker at the front desk , he was very rude. I am a veteran and every time I go to a golf course I ask to see if they have a veteran discount. First four times I went I got a discount. It was a different amount every time so it was confusing and then today I am told they don’t have a veteran discount very rudely. This same guy gave me a discount last time and was also rude then.
