Goshen Medical Center — Local services in Faison

Giving this a three because the doctors and nurses are awesome, but the front desk staff is difficult to work with. We always seem to have a problem. These include forgetting to file insurance, refusing to see my child even though she has medicaid, she just hadn't received her card and I had proof with me from DHHS, scheduling us on a day that the doctors were actually not available, AND she admitted she saw our name on the schedule the previous day and thought is was strange we were scheduled that day, but failed to call us. We wait over an hour and a half over our scheduled appointment times at least 1/2 the time. The plus of this office is they have a well waiting room and a sick waiting room. The problem is, I don't think the front desk enforces this, I see a lot of sick kids in the well waiting room. We continue to go because the doctors are great, the nurses are top notch. And there is one woman at the front desk who's very nice, unfortunately we don't get to deal with her often, usually stuck talking to snippy lady. Also don't expect if you call for an appointment to get a quick answer, the main desk picks it up and transfers the call to the appropriate department, but most pf the time, the main desk has to try 3 or 4 times before someone picks up. My kids usually are seen at MOFM however the past few times we have used Goshen Pediatrics. Im not sure where they found this amazing doc at but I sure hope she stays. I recommend all who are looking an amazing pediatrician see Susan NP at Goshen. She truly cares about her patients to the point every patient has her personal phone number in case of emergency or for any questions or concerns. She encourages parents to contact her. I have fell in love with her and her student from NC State 😍 my kids will continue to be seen by her. Keep up the great work guys. Your community appreciates you. Honestly I have used the option of contacting doctor directly, day or night she will be available to her patients at all times. I have never seen a doctor that cares for her patients as much as she does. She truly makes you feel completely comfortable and your child as well. I'm going to stick with her as a pediatric physician...

terrible customer service. I told then when my wife taking pcr test, that my wife leaves on Sunday morning on international flight), that it needs to be within the 72 hour period. The clinic didn't call me or my wife, to tell us that the lab results is in. I went to check status and pick up a pcr covid test this morning (for my wife), the lady that gave me the results was rude. The clinic don't have any signs if we have to park on side of driveway or parking spot (for picking up results. I guess we suppose to automatically know this things)..
