Not a horrible place. Once I hit dock, about an hr to unload floor loaded 44k lbs of potatoes. I read a previous review about overnight parking. Got there about 9pm night before but never found the scale the guy talked about. There’s room for about 4 trucks at facility, depending heavily on how the first one parks. The scale is about 1/2 mile from facility on same road. Go there. Because they’ll wake you up, and take you down there anyway to scale in. Also you’ll have to scale out and return for paperwork. Their trailer washout was $25. Cash or efs style check. You’ll have to have said check. They do T keep ‘em. I found another washout down the road about 5 miles. Really cool older gentleman. Read moreNice staff there is overnight parking try to check in early (5:30am-6am) even if you have an appointment later in the day I see they go off the sign in sheet not to much appointments if everything goes well and the equipment is working smoothly you should be in and out with in 45min to 1 hour they also do trailer washouts and there is a big sign with loading/unloading fees so you can start asking for a comcheck/ T-check /...
Read moreI am doing my best to discover who all their customers are (retail food stores) who are demanding individual sweet potatoes be wrapped individually in plastic wrap. This is so opposite to the need to use LESS plastics in packaging. If Nature’s Farm is so environmentally irresponsibe I can identify and avoid buying their products.
