Gorgeous, shabby chic event venue in the heart of Black Forest. As you pull in, you enter a long tree-stuuded drive that winds you back to a parking lot and a walkway lit by Christmas lights. They have multiple buildings throughout the property topped off by a beautiful, red Barn with a ton of character inside and out. There's a piano on the inside, a book nook, round tables with chairs and a corner area with apparel for sale. They have a grand fire pit, sheep and nice play area for kids. Highly recommended.

What I especially love is that you don't need to be a child or have a kiddo yourself to enjoy the experience. My sister and I are in our thirties, no kids, and we just wanted a fun and festive experience for the Christmas season. Forest Bend Farm was a perfect choice for us. We loved participating in the hay ride, going through the maze, drinking hot chocolate and decorating our sugar cookies, watching the nativity, and wandering through the farm. The Christmas lights were fabulous and it was just an overall lovely time. I highly recommend wearing warm layers like we did. You know how cold it gets in Colorado at night. It was special to see all of the families with their littles enjoying themselves, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season with my little sister. We never felt awkward being adults with no kids; it was just such a warm and welcoming experience. I love the Christian warmth and hospitality the family exuded and I know we'll be...

Forest Bend Farm was awesome. We have 4 teenage boys 18-13 and I was a little concerned there wouldn't be enough to interest them, but I was so surprised! They had a blast with the zip line and indoor games. They found plenty to do and weren't ready to go even when us older people were worn out. Fortunately, there were great places for us to sit and get warm while we waited for them to wear out, too. Awesome photo spots, the hayride through the lights was wonderful. An awesome bonus was that the food was delicious and very reasonably priced for such a venue. I can't recommend this...

So fun! My family had an awesome time exploring the farm. There were so many neat and fun things to do. Thank you for all if the warnings about layers. I felt a little silly bundling everyone up but was very happy I did about 10 minutes in. So thanks for the heads up. The thing that could push this place over the top would be more seating. It would have been nice when we set the kids free in the play area to have a close bench. The game tent could use a bench, too. We really enjoyed our time and look forward to coming back next year. Oh and my son loved the...
