Last week I had a great experience buying a Mastercraft Prostar from Doug at The Liquid Edge. Prior to purchasing it, we had several conversations about three or four boats he had for sale that I was interested in. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all the features and options. I never felt pressured, or like he was too busy for me. Because of his approach, I was able to make a good decision, and ended up with a boat I am very happy with, at a fair price. We drove eight hours from Minneapolis to pick up the boat. It was worth it. When we arrived, the boat was ready. We test drove it on his amazing lake. Doug took the time to explain all the new features on a Prostar. I am coming from a '95 Prostar 190 (30 yrs old), so there were a lot of new features to absorb. Another highlight of our trip was getting a coaching session from Doug's son Ty. He is an excellent coach. His passion to help me showed. He helped me with some fundamentals of my skiing. I recently purchased this 2021 X22 from Doug. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient while we tried to figure out what boat we wanted to purchase. It was great not having a salesman calling me everyday trying to force me into a deal. When it was time to pick the boat up they had it all ready to go and in the water for a test drive.
