Blue Job is my favorite. I've been going here with my family and dogs for years. It's always so beautiful and clean. It can get muddy in spring and the "steep path" can be slippery in winter. The best time to go is when the wild blueberries are ripe (june-september). We have collected tiny berries on a hike then went home and made cake with them. There are many trails to take and there's a fire tower to climb for some nice views. The summit is lovely and has views of all the surrounding areas. I've done some trekking and found an old graveyard in the woods. Very cool! Easy hike, but you can make it...
   Read moreThe other day....my wife told me to take a hike....I thought to myself....Mt Everest is a long way from here.... so maybe I should try something closer....it came to me in a flash....Mt Washington.... but after further investigation I decided a 6288 foot mountain might not be a good warm up hike.... checking Google maps I found...in my own back yard.... the mountain that every great explorer should climb first....
