Where do I begin? Complete nightmare for our family. Live in stole a designer handbag and a family heirloom. Wouldnt let me pick her bag up to help her because the missing items were in the bag covered by a towel!!! I drove her home and she wouldnt let me put her address in my GPS. Most importantly left my family member unattended without coverage. Never sent us an itemized bill. Companions and Homewreckers are now suiing my disabled elderly immune compromised parent fighting cancer during Covid 19. Expecting her in court soon over an hour drive from her home while she is in tremendous pain with spinal cord injury. She cant sit in a car for 5 minutes. I would give 0 stars if I could. There first day was Monday and I thought all went well... Tuesday I received a call at 8:00 which should have been the start time and was told that the aide had a medical issue and would not be in. Spoke to management and expressed the importance of being here when needed and they said they understood. My father had aides from Companions and Homemakers for the past 18 months. We never had any issues, and they were always very good at communicating with me and my father. When he had to go to the nursing home someone called me to check on him to see how he was doing. We had a much better experience with this organization after leaving another. I think in general this industry is just underfunded and the aides should be paid more as it is hard work. We had a...
