This is very so beyond super late but I really could not forget the amazing help, service, and assistance received from Doug Henry himself, Paco, Jeff, and all of the amazing staff working at the Doug Henry Chevrolet GMC of Farmville. They say sometimes fate will lead you to the right person during times of struggle. This is exactly the situation when I met Mr. Doug Henry. Very sweet and personable and my kind of person. A person who has the means to help someone and through any circumstance is still handling business. Long story short Doug Henry sent me through to a fellow associate who led me to Paco. I was able to explain my circumstance, what I wanted, what I actually needed and not even a hour later I was sent three pictures of vehicles I would never expect to qualify for. I made an appointment in which my significant partner and I headed from the coast to Farmville. A hour and a half drive but let me tell you I would do it three times over and step on a crack. When we got there we were greeted by Paco who made the whole day super hilarious. It was like test driving and doing business with you funniest friend. We test drove a 2017 Nissan Rouge and we looked through the lot to see if anything else caught our minds. We test drove another vehicle and were going in between the two. The deal offerings on each of the vehicles were awesome. As we were running numbers Paco who let me say is one of the funniest people I have met in a while thought of one last option as they just received it the day before. A 2023 Nissan Rouge in which when he drove it up front both of us equally smiled at each other knowing we just found our car. With the deals and discounts (such as a healthcare discount) we were super happy with our purchase. Jeff was great too he explained everything as this is my first car I have bought by myself told me what to expect and what could happen if the bank wanted to resubmit my application. He was helpful after the car sale too with getting information traded over. That is something I have commonly hears is a issue so was glad to be able to still receive assistance even after the sale was completed. I personally will refer anyone to Doug Henry Chevrolet GMC of Farmville...
Read moreA great price doesn't always mean a great deal. I have only written 2 reviews in my life. This one and another (which was praising a company that did great work for me). I traded my truck here at Doug Henry GMC in Farmville, and they didn't pay it off until 2 weeks later (after they sold it) causing my payment to be late. When I called about why they hadn't paid it off yet, they said they were mailing the payment that day. On the new truck I traded for, my 30 day tag almost ran out and when I called DMV 27 days into the 30 day tag, they had no record at all of the truck I bought. Called the dealership and was told they had an "in-house DMV". There's no such thing. The DMV is run by the state and certainly doesn't have an office in this little dealership. When I called them out on that lie, I was told they would call me back. Then I was told they had a problem with DMV and they were going to go to the local office and get my stuff done. Why did it take 27 days and me calling them to figure this out? If I didn't call I honestly don't believe it would be getting done at all and I would be out of luck driving with an expired temporary tag. I've got 3 days left on my tag and will hope for the best. It's been a headache. I have to say that I did get a great price on the truck, but had I known all this would happen I would've had another dealer match them and bought...
Read moreThis by far has been the worse experience that I have ever experienced at any dealership. I traded in a 2022 Toyota Highlander to get a 2022 Buick Encore GX. It has honestly been a nightmare from the time I left this dealership. Somehow or another Toyota was not allowing Doug Henry to Pay off for the highlander. After about 1 week of me having the Buick, Kevin called me and told me what was going on. He stated that I had to bring the Buick back or go to Toyota and pay off for the Highlander myself. I asked how was this possible when I had already recieved paper work for the Buick from GM and the bank stating that it was my vehicle. 3 weeks later I was still having to go back and fourth from Greenville to farmille and Goldsboro. Doug Henry didn't care that I was missing work to go to all these places. They didnt care about the gas I was wasting. They didnt care about my time being wasted. I was the only one that was being inconvenienced throughout this entire experience. They didnt set up a date or time for my first service, didn't show me anything about the new vehicle, NOTHING! Who ever is reading this, PLEASE dont not go to this dealership! They are all about making a sale thats it! No care for the customer...
