Ish Creek Boat Ramp — Local services in Farragut

Been going here just to sit at night, catfish all night, and swim with the family day and night for 5 years.

Next thing we know last night 4 cop cars show up telling everyone who is just night fishing to leave because they're "Just now" enforcing the "sign" that says Noone is to be there after dark.

Personally I've never seen a sign saying that, and the online overview states it's 24 hours. There's so many people coming out to night fish for catfish and we're the ones being kicked out?

I will have to say, they are targeting the wrong folks...we have seen parties, drugs, alcohol and chaos...but that's coming from the college age people ruining it for everyone.

Maybe they should try watching nightly for the specific types of trashy people rather than the average fisherman...by the way we have legal license to fish...but that wasn't important.

It's another good thing being ruined and another freedom lost...

The ramp is in great condition, big enough for 2 boats at the same time. Real nice dock runs beside the ramp. It is in a large cove, lots of room for people to fish from the bank.
