In live in Woodcreek, and don't go to the main (bigger) pool because it's always SOOOOO crowded, though it DOES offer a fun splash pad play area for the kids, but with no kids it's just TOO MUCH.
I've heard that there is another pool (or water area - not 100% sure of all the amenities) in the complex on the other side... down CD BOREN closer to the Royse City side that isn't as crowded, but that was a bit ago, so don't hold me to that-- just an idea to go look and see if it's see.
☆I actually was there that day to partake in the discounted vaccination (microchipping & preventative medication) of my dogs. It was a cluster, but that was bc there were SOO MANY PPL there to get services for their pets...
☆☆I DO WISH that people who actually LIVED in Woodcreek & paid HOA got to go first... I am 100% all for discount puppy healthcare and a million % behind getting your pets spayed & neutered (and they did spays/neuters by appts only - which is the only way to offer that service)...
BUT if you are going to have this WONDERFUL service in our building, in our neighborhood, blocking our access to the main parking lot & pool area - not to mention all the extra traffic that was happening.... we should've gotten to jump the line (not being a brat here, and I in NO WAY think I am above anyone else, hell I've had to move back in with my parents bc if this, & I needed the services too- COVID kicked all our butts)... BUT we're the ones paying the HOA fees and having our neighborhood overwhelmed for the morning... they could've at least let the few ppl that actually lived here to get seen a little bit earlier!
And I know from talking to people that they DIDN'T LIVE IN WOODCREEK!!
♡♡But on a brighter, happier note... I'm really glad Woodcreek opened its doors to offer ppl in the Fate/Royce City area to get their pets taken care of at a discounted price
$$$Though I still spent $295 (and my 2 are 5½ & 6½, so they only needed vaccinations & heartworm pills)... do that $300 wasn't even for surgery!! Definitely was NOT expecting to spend $300 on a discounted vaccination group. But they were VERY NICE, and did the best they could under the circumstances- THERE WERE SOO MANY PPL and I got there before it opened and was still AT LEAST 15 pets back, by the time I was waiting to pay & get my tags the line was wrapping around the building!!!
But good on ya WOODCREEK for supporting pet health...
Read moreLived in Rockwall County for 21 years, nearly half my life come to think of it. Of those years, 10 in Woodcreek. This is by far the best neighborhood we have lived in and I have never met an angry resident. People who like to gather and mingle do so, and those of us that like to be hermits are tolerated as well. Lots of company buds in this neighborhood, and a wide range of ages from seniors retired waiting on grand kids to visit to young families starting out. No one has complained about the various music emanating from my garage, nor the cars I have parked in the street. Teenagers are welcome in my neighborhood. No vandalism, no gunshots (except occasional ranchette cowboys shooting targets off in the distance), used to hear coyotes yip-yapping a few years ago, and still hear bulls and cows down on Ben Payne complaining about the morning dew. Yes, the pool can be dirty in high usage periods, but the dog park is exceptional and so is the...
Read moreAs of writing this, my experience with this team has been disappointing and senseless. I am not alone in stating that they inconsistently answer calls or emails - neighbors regularly make this comment, myself included. I have politely emailed, called, and even gone in-person to communicate concerns and provided evidence to support my position. For over 6 months, I have been ignored, and there is still no action taken to address the issues I have brought to their attention, much less even an acknowledgment of my communication. This is the poorest of business practices to take one's money in return for services and then not provide said services. Woodcreek would be far better if people who lived here ran the HOA and represented ourselves. I am disappointed in the interactions, or lack there of, that I have had with this "team." Otherwise, I love the...
