Carlie C's IGA — Local services in Fayetteville

I've lived two miles away from this Carlie C's for 4 years now. It's usually our go to for things we forgot at Walmart. Produce isn't that great, you really have to look and feel it all. Prices are a little higher than Walmart. But the meat packages are a good deal if you pick the right things. We always get the 5 packs for $50. We get a package of steaks, porkchops ( which can be separated into two meals for our family of four), 2 packs of hamburger which is usually 4+ meals for us, and then a pack of country ribs or another thing of steak. I usually buy chicken at Walmart though. Over the past few months they have been making a lot of upgrades to look nicer but staff is still mediocrely pleasant, and the guy that runs the whole place seems to be an entitled ass, he passed me and whipped into a spot as I waited for an elderly woman to cross the parking lot. Again, the produce has to really be looked at. And often times things are expired so check dates before you buy. Once we bought a little Ben and Jerrys ice cream and got home it had already been opened and eaten half of, we hadn't realized the plastic...

When you ring up your groceries and the self checkout freezes up when you are trying to pay you would think an employee would help you. Instead I got in line at the service desk I was the only one there, my man was coming with the buggy then someone stepped in front of him right before he got to me I had just explained what happened to the cashier as he got the bug to me and she told me I had to get in line. Excuse me but I was in line. So it was absolutely a lesson learned. I was a regular but now ill be going somewhere else. I've been in customer service for 24 yrs and I would never turn a customer away because I didn't want to do something. Thank goodness there was one little girl about to close her register and she rung us up. That was awesome of her but I refuse to shop at a place where they let their employees treat...

I love Carlie C's IGA because it has most of the grocery items, health and care items party items , flowers for love ones, dish cloths, and other miscellaneous items that you would not expect them to carry.

Secondly, I love Carlie C's JGA because it has hometown friendly employees who work there and they are so pleased to have you there. You know that because they give you those welcoming smiles .

I also appreciate the fact that they will go the last mile to help you locate any item that you cannot find in the store.

The manager is during a great job to training his workers to service the Fayetteville, N.C. Community and the Fort Bragg area.

It also has a bakery that cooks the best desserts that makes your mouth run water just to look at them in the showcase.
