Food Lion — Local services in Fayetteville

This use to be my go to place for groceries, but this store has gone downhill badly in the last 6 months or so, mostly with the meats, which is the biggest part of groceries. I've bought multiple meat products over the last few months that looked great, but were rancid when opened to cook. Going there tonight, once again the turkey meat was very scarce, there was a lot of condensation on the cooler, and it didn't feel very cold. We opted out of buying anything from the meat section in fear of spoiled meat. It actually turned us off to buying anything refrigerated this time. This caused us to make a trip to Walmart to finish our shopping, which we wanted to avoid. Something needs to change for quality control and safe food storage at this location to make it a great place to shop again. I want to make one trip when I shop, and I would love for that one stop to be this store, but I can't take that chance anymore. I hope this reaches the right people so...

Wow I have visited only 2 other Food Lion's and by far this needs the most help I don't know if they have to many people that have worked there for so long that they don't feel like they need to work or something the two "managers" I am assuming that they are managers because they dress different refused to help their employees with checkout and the lines were long and they just pretended to be working some of the workers are excellent and seem to work very hard and some just don't so if you have a Lot of time to stand on lines then this is your place but if not only come here if you are really really desperate and don't mind waiting long periods of time even if you have one or like I had 3 items but still had to wait 20 plus minutes to get my three products as the 2 "managers" walked around the...

I was very didappointed in the meat department at the Rosehill Road location. Their meats are not fresh... turning dark red to brown. Clearly out dated & unconsumable for consumers. When I asked one of the meat attendants if they had any more freah pork chops in the back, he said that they did not and that was all they had ... which was hard to believe. (And those are not the only meats that I am referring to) I think they were just trying to get rid of that meat first. I am a regular Shopper of Food Lion stores, but this has been going on for weeks now. I think I will start doing my shopping elsewhere. Again...very, very,...
