A beautiful old building, stunning scenery, and a chance to get up close to a hydroelectric power plant. Only downside is parking at the top, and having to walk down the road, which you aren't allowed to drive on, then walk down an awkward staircase, then other stairs, and an uneven sidewalk, to get to the bottom. How can you not love Hawks neat one of the best views ever . Quiet family park,men women rest room,wheelchair access,souvinere shop,plenty of parking, individual 1st come 1st served or never hurts to share public grilled from spot to spot. Plenty to go around great picnic or even event place with reservations covered picnic tables with stone fire place. Lots of local and on sight trails. Very historical peace...
