Dollar General — Local services in Felton

I’ve been shopping at this Dollar General probably for over 10 years. Today after spending over 15 hours in the ICU with my son who was admitted. I had to hurry in and pick up a few things for my daughter’s birthday party tomorrow. After rushing around this morning getting things, as yesterday I was not able to. While I was shopping in DG in Felton today. I passed one of the associates stocking shelves in one of the narrow aisles. I Looked up to her and said hi, how are you? As I squeezed past her, she made a rude comment to me for not saying excuse me. But I did make communication with her, unfortunately not myself, I did not have the energy to even think about the next words that were coming out of my mouth. Out of respect, some people should really think about what other people are going through and not just assume they are being rude. Especially after I had just got done asking her how she was. Clearly, my eyes are bloodshot red and you could see that I probably had a long night. But to be rude for no reason. Being a resident here in Felton l, not that even matters to a corporation this big. But I can promise you I will not step foot in this place again. And you can thank your associate. I assumed she would know me better as we have crossed paths a dozen times in this store. I am still in all, how she could talk so rude to a customer, a person, for no reason. Humanity...

In the past, Customer service was not the best, made you feel like you were bothering them, if you could even find someone. Take that and compound it with the high prices, that are no better than the big box stores, sometimes even higher, especially if you did not go through the million digital coupons before hand and clip it to your card. Of course the store is an older building so terrible cell reception, no clipping on the spot. it was a frustrating trip everytime! My husband was tired of hearing complain. So we stopped going there for a long time However, we stopped in there for convenience the other day and the new faces seemed very nice, helpful and welcoming. We went back Saturday and the same friendly greeting with more new faces. Sometimes the cost doesn't matter as long as you are made feel welcome. Keep it up Felton looking better. I am not ready to make it my go to store again, but will...

The posted closing time for this store is 10:00pm and they always close at 8:30-9:00pm but recently ive had my wisdom teeth removed and all i can eat are noodles so i went to get some from the most convenient store because im in pain and they are closed mind you its 7:30pm and it says they close at 10:00pm. As i sit in the parking lot after trying to go in and the doors were locked i go on the website and what do you know it says they are open. I understand having business issues that cause you to close early but a note on the door would be nice and if its due to being understaffed change your store hours its honestly just poor management...
