I have enjoyed going to Janoski's in the spring and have had great experiences up until this year. This year was beyond disappointing and they have completely lost my trust.

This year Loraine E. was at checkout in the greenhouse and completely ruined our trip. My mom and I had just spent about 2 hours picking out plants when we went to the front to pay. As usual, there were plants marked free. Every other time we have gone, the people up front have encouraged us to take as many of the free plants as we wanted because they were really trying to get rid of them and they weren't healthy or doing well. Well, Loraine completely berated us saying there was a sign outside that said there was a limit of one per person. She was more than rude about it and when we said we didn't realize our mistake and that we would gladly abide by the limit her attitude did not change. She was disgusted with us and even gave us an attitude about buying so many full-priced plants. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we got home that we realized she had charged us for the two free plants on top of the normal priced plants and after the experience we had, I honestly believe it was done on purpose out of spite. I called Janoski's right away and was told I would have to drive the hour back to Janoski's with the plants, receipt, and card I used to get a refund. We did that the next day.

We talked to a manager today and got a refund for the plants but nothing was offered to mitigate the trouble we had to go through to get the refund. My trust in this greenhouse has been destroyed. I was given the option to get two more free plants or get a refund but the fact of the matter is that it never should have happened in the first place and I should not have had to drive another hour out of my way to deal with this situation. If we hadn't been treated in the manner that we had and believed it was an honest mistake, we wouldn't have felt the need to go back but this was completely uncalled for. Loraine could have politely said that there was a limit and we would not have had a problem but her attitude completely ruined the trip. I suggest that shoppers learn from our mistake and check their receipts before leaving the...

Janoski's is a wonderful little gem hidden in the middle of nowhere and filled with lots of local produce from area farms. They do have a somewhat limited variety of fruit and vegetables, so it will be hit-or-miss if you are looking for something very specific, but the produce that they do have has always been incredibly fresh and delicious (and in the case of their peaches and nectarines, the juiciest I have ever had). Their bakery section, while small, is always very high quality, and they have a huge variety of local meats in the freezers. It's always worth stopping by just to see how the shop's selection has changed, and there is always some kind of seasonal item or theme going on that keeps things interesting. I suggest you go there early in the morning, however, as the place gets very busy later in the day (and especially on Sundays).

One small word of warning is that many of the non-perishable or bakery items that Janoski's carries are actually Delallo-branded and more commercial, so keep that in mind if you are trying to focus on local items instead. They are clearly stickered, but if you aren't looking for it you might not realize that the cookies you grabbed weren't actually made in the bakery. This doesn't make the products bad by any means, simply not made on-site or from a nearby farm.

Please note that this review is only for the main shop; I have not been inside the greenhouse yet, but plan to in the future and will add review...

I am so thankful for this family and all their hard work. I get all my produce and many other things from here. But its not just a "market". 5.5 years of going here and I got the privilege of getting to know the family more and more. AND I get to give lots of scratches and hugs to Sprite and Sheba! I look forward to seeing evryone every day. I make it there at aleast every other day. Why? Well becasue they have the best produce, family friendly environment, always pleasant employees AND the pups!!! I am very thankful for such an amazing family and extra thanks for allowing me to come and visit your 🐶 🐶 almost every day. I literally can't wait to get off of work and stop at Janoskis its really that wonderful. I am sad to say I am so heartbroken to hear one of the two 🐶🐶 has walked over the rainbow bridge. So super sad. But most importantly thank you again for your wonderful place and such an amazing faimly oriented market. I will always recommend your place and I am thankful I've moved out in the area so that I can continue to visit the market and of course Sheba!! I will really miss Sprite 😢 😔...

Much larger than I had realized. I had been to Janoski's before a few times but I did not realize how far back the property went. We were settling up at the Spring Vendor Show 5/7/23 and it was held near the Lakeside Pavillion. The event area was lovely. There was plenty of space, no one felt cramped, there was ample parking for vendors and customers. The only thing that could have improved the event was if the food trucks had been placed near the event area. They were all the way at the front next to the main building so you had to drive up to access them. Unless a vendor had additional help they were basically cut off from any of the food options. We would absolutely recommend attending and participating in events at Janoski's Farm and Greenhouse.

Always a good time. Beautiful countryside and farmland. Everybody is helpful and nice. My oldest Grandson carried an 87 pound pumpkin.

Love this place! The staff are very friendly and kind and will help you find what you are looking for if you ask, even if you ask while at the checkout like we did. :) Fresh produce is beautiful as are the baked goods and pretty much anything you could want. I loved the fact that I could purchase Dellalo pepperoni and Walnut Creek items too! Some fun items are pictured; I loved the display of soaps for sale in a bathtub! Be sure to stop into the Arrowhead winery shop at one of the ends of the market. Free sample of the wines are offered and the wine selection available is impressive. If you love sangria, they make a great one and the peach seasonal wine is outstanding. Wanted to spend more time and more money there. Will be back!
