Illusions Organic Sunless Tanning — Local services in Firestone

I’ve never gotten a spray tan before, but was heading to Hawaii and figured that I probably shouldn’t bind everyone with my paper white skin. I reached out to Illusions on IG to ask questions and make sure I wouldn’t come out orange and patchy like most tanner make me look. They provided so much information that made me more comfortable with booking an appointment. When I came in for an 8 hour formula as a trial and Emily answered even more of my questions. It turned out so beautiful - I felt so powerful and confident. I returned to Emily for the 6 hour and 4 hour after that. Not only does their formula adapt so well to your skin, the add ons addressed my worries about my dry skin. While the result was exactly what I wanted, Emily’s personality made me comfortable and her service was so fun and enjoyable. Danielle was willing to work with me to find a time to meet that best fit my schedule. She was on time and didn’t mind waiting a couple of minutes while I dealt with some last minute vacuuming. I have 4 small children and she never once seemed annoyed by them running in and out of the house and asking her 1000 questions. I felt very comfortable while getting the spray tan and it developed very nicely! I am SUPER pale so I was a little cautious about getting a spray tan at all but I am incredibly pleased to say that I did not turn orange and I don’t look like “Tan Mom” from the Howard Stern Show lol. I've spray tanned both with Emily and Danielle and love them both! I first tried the rapid 4 hour formula but am used to being pretty pale so this seemed dark to me but it did last well over a week. My fave is the 8hr formula with the pre/post treatments. It lasts me right at 4-5 days and is good for a long weekend trip. I love that it's organic and the owner creates the formulas herself (how cool is that?!) I don't like tan lines and wear different suits on vacays so I go bare-a$$ for the sprays. They make you feel totally comfortable and like they see it all the time...Thankful to have found...
