We Care Thrift Store Flomaton — Local services in Flomaton

This use to be a really great thrift store with low prices for a great quality. It’s not horrible but I always end up leaving to go to Atmore’s where everything is lower or priced reasonably for a donated item. It’s really a shame how greedy it’s become. The exact same small portable baby swing that I have that I bought from Teen Challenge for 9.99 basically brand new they have it priced for 29.99 !!!! But that’s not the only item they do this with multiple items especially baby items. For example I bought some ties from there I was told the price for them individually is 4.99 but the lady said that she would do it for 2.99 apiece. I later went to the Atmore Thrift Store were all the ties were .99 cent. Now this is supposed to be a Christian store I’ve lived here for years I’ve been to the thrift store on multiple occasions over the years. Usually older women running it and very nice ladies but now they have one lady in there short w. A raspy voice that Has a habit of talking about customers children or just gossiping in general loudly may I add and I find it quite very inappropriate. You can have your personal opinion about many things but not at work. As someone who worked retail and dealt with people never once did it ever cross my mind to talk about customers with other customers because it’s extremely unprofessional and inappropriate regardless of the job you work at and if this is supposed to be a Christian store then she ought to know that gossiping is a no no biblically speaking now I’m not casting stones but it doesn’t look good on the thrift store claiming to be a Christian one or-based and it doesn’t look good on the owner when one of their employees is basically cutting down people down that help her get a check to pay bills. We are to be a model of what a Christian should be in that can be very confusing to the somebody who has lost or can push somebody away that’s lost when I see somebody gossiping about people with other customers and they think that’s what a Christian should be like. No one‘s perfect but it’s a no-brainer not to be doing that. I would definitely like to see the store do better because as I stated i used to come here a lot over the years. I love the older ladies who have always just been very nice and it’s not a terrible place it’s just gotten to be...

It's a very nice thrift store but you have to catch things when they come in. it's not like they have shipments schedule with certain items. It's kind of like a hit and miss call, hopefully it's there today if not it might be there the next future day. But just keep checking back as sooner or later they might have in what you need. Also if you need something they don't have they will be nice enough to take your name down and call you if the item that you're looking for comes in....

It's a great thrief shop and all but yes sum of us ppl like to see what the throw away and they really throw away really good stuff that I and others like me would like to take home and use. What's wrong with going through some of the thing in the dumpster and take it, but nope even asking the manager over it all would not allow you to take it. which it's sad. Idc, i think it's ridiculous. They need to change a bit of their mind set of giving since I mean they do get everything...
