Mount Frontenac Golf Course — Local services in Florence Township

This is a very nice golf course! Dan was in the pro shop and was very cool, he was very informational on everything about that course so I got in his ear about a few things that I was concerned about. One of the questions I asked him is how many people do you get here to play on the weekends cuz it seems pretty dead I think this course is very unappreciated for its location. This is a very forgiving golf course the fairways are nice and wide no matter what your shot is you can play it. The refs were nice and tight you could hit your ball out of it it did not sink into the rough it pretty much sat on top. The fairways were very nicely kept and because of the temperature they were running really fast so you did not have to drive down every hole you could use a long iron and get it up to Fairway and clothes for your second shot. I highly recommend this golf course to anybody of any level of playing golf. You cannot go wrong playing at Mount Frontenac! When you get there you tell em.. T-Bone sent you and bring a friend or three and play some golf and plan on a second return possibly even a third! Get out and play this course before your chance is gone!! #getoutngolf...

Bestie just completed 2 years of Medical School academia and her 1st boards exam. Celebrated with a night at Treasure island and a day at Mount Frontenac Golf course. She will be a great physician and decided that GOLF was a necessary skill to learn. The course was/is beautiful. The staff was outstanding. No refreshment cart this particular day but a very nice lady driving by on her way to manage some landscaping (she also checked us in) asked how our day was going. I asked about getting an adult beverage and she gave me a tip that on #6 I could cut across to the clubhouse for my beverage. As we tee'ed off 6, she drove by again and asked me what we wanted. Summer Shandy is my besties favorite. Off she went and returned shortly with a 6pack. I golf kinda regular but this is the first time I was treated so nicely by someone that was clearly busy managing the course. I did not get her name but she will know who she is. Thank you for making my besties first time an awesome experience. Great course overlooking lake Pepin. Great staff. Wonderful day trip...

My girlfriend and I played here this past weekend and were very surprised with this course.

Coming off of a drought summer/fall and seeing a lot of damage on some of the courses in the cities we were surprised to see lots of green and a well kept course, especially so early in the season.

The course was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday at 10am but after we finished it was fairly busy but seemed flowing and not bottlenecking. It is set in the bluffs which allows for some hilly holes as well as some blind shots so be prepared with a spotter. Overall though it is a great course and we will be back again in the fall to play during the peak of fall.

The only complaint is that we were charged more for golf carts than what is advertised on...
