Food Outlet — Local services in Florence

I really like to shop locally when possible and I had no problem getting what I was looking for!! Their "Bar S" lunch meat is pretty reasonable, I was able to get ham for $3.45 and turkey for $4.45 and that's the 12 oz packages!! I also picked up some Spring Water for my Mom and a case of it was $3.85. So, all in all I thought their prices were pretty good!! Shawna was working the register and she's always really sweet too 😊😊

I have to admit all of this was from my first time in now my second, I was shopping for more than lunch meat and was shocked by the prices!! I'm not positive but, in my opinion they are price gouging and getting away...

When I first moved to this area and tried the local grocery store, I was not impressed at all and didn't go back. But a while ago Food Outlet took over (purchased the store, I guess) and cleaned it up. Now I shop there regularly. The store is clean, the refrigerators and freezers work properly, the staff is very friendly and helpful when you need it. It is so nice to be able to shop there now and not have to drive into town. I like shopping here. Smaller store without the noise and crowded feel of the larger stores. They don't have a lot of specialty items, but they have the essentials covered. They are competitively priced with most grocery stores, and a lot closer than driving to Florence which saves me...
