Lighthouse and Sealion Beach Vantage Point — Local services in Florence

Beautiful views of the heceta light house. This is a nice spot by the road with parking space that can fit a few cars. You can get amazing view of the vast ocean and an unobstructed view of the light house. The sunset from this spot was breath-taking. "By golly, if only there were a vantage point to view the lighthouse from and possibly see some sea lions"

When upon rounding a bend such a vantage point appeared.

Parking is limited so plan ahead, particularly as the lot is small and off a bend so allow plenty of time to slow down.

Stopped here quickly to check the views and stretch our legs. The turnoff is right around a curve so just be careful when getting back on the road but it was well worth it! You can see the lighthouse across the coast and then see a lot of sea lions down...
