Make your New Year’s resolution to explore more of our beautiful state of Arizona 🏜🫶 Located just 45 minutes east of Phoenix you will find Superior which was home to the richest silver mine in Arizona back in the late 1800s. Nowadays, Superior is know for its beautiful landscape which is perfect for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, or just simply exploring. Here are 5 stops to make the perfect day trip to Superior! 🌱Stop 1: @btarboretum The oldest and largest arboretum in Arizona! It has 5 gardens and easily one of the most peaceful places I’ve come across here in Arizona. 🌱Stop 2: Porter’s Saloon Drive to Downtown Superior for lunch with stunning views of the mountains nearby. 🌱Stop 3: Suspension Bridge Located behind Porter’s Saloon - super cute photo op! 🌱Stop 4: @bruzzivineyard This was the first vineyard in Gila County! Visit for a painting class ($30-40) or for wine tasting ($12). 🌱Stop 5: Vintage Shopping @picket_post_antiques Super fun shop with something for everyone! Please be sure to #leavenotrace as you’re exploring our beautiful state!! Pack out what you pack in 💚 Be sure to follow us for more day trip inspo ✨🫶 #superioraz #daytrip #exploreaz #phoenixarizona #arizona #thingstodo #2023goals

Looking for the perfect proposal location? We got you 🥰 Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior is the one of the most serene places in all of Arizona. From their wide variety of plants and trees like boojum trees, cork oaks, jujube trees, and one of the largest red gum eucalyptus trees in the US, this makes for such a romantic spot to ask the big question! There’s many different spots that would make for the ideal location to get down on one knee. The Berber Suspension Bridge (featured in the video) crosses Queen Creek and is absolutely stunning with the mountains in the background. Two other good spots would be the white Benson Bridge and the Gazebo at Ayer Lake. Most of the arboretum is wheelchair accessible too! Explore the arboretum together to find the perfect spot to ask pop the question ☺️ Send this to your s/o to give a little hint :) @btarboretum #proposal #engagement #bridetobe #engagementsurprise #arizonaproposals #arizona #phoenix #proposalideas

Bridge over Queen Creek that will take you to the trail on the other side of the creek. The bridge is a recent addition and not historic.

This is the most popular spot in the arboretum. It is very photogenic, especially if you come in the autumn and there's the natural backdrop splash of yellow and golden colors. The bridge connects you from the Main Trail to the High Trail- a ~10 minute hiking trail that takes you up the mountain so you can get some birds-eye view. The bridge itself though is not as long as the photos on Instagram may lead you to believe. It took about a minute or so to cross, and there's a small amount of water running underneath. Ahead you can enjoy views of the mountain. The bridge can shake as people walk and/or jump on it- so if you want to do pro photography, go when it's not as crowded. :) Speaking of crowds, it was jam packed on a weekend and there was a bunch of people standing around to get their perfect photos and selfies. Crowds aside, it's a beautiful...
