First time in this campground. The three stars are for the staff. Every person is doing his or her job in an outstanding manner. The bathrooms are clean all the time not matter the hour or the amount of guest using them. The office personnel is very professional and the site is well keep. Now, the biggest issue is the lack of shade. This is in Florida , where the sun shines with great enthusiasm, and temperatures reach the high 90s very frequently. There should be trees, Tiky huts, umbrellas, awnings, porches, anything that would potentially protect the guest from frying. The pines are far way from the camping sites and the beach area. There are some palm trees and two tiki huts in the public area .Not nearly enough to prevent the sand from heating up in a way that by 10.00 am is impossible to sat anywhere but inside your camper. So I asked, I was told that they were affected by the hurricane, that Monroe County is very picky with new constructions, and that planting new trees is problematic due to environmental issues. These answers were intended to justify a lack of concern from the owners .The reality is that insurances pay for hurricane damages, that setting up umbrellas and awnings do not require special permits and natives trees are always welcome. Notice in the pictures the lack of shade everywhere. I can't imagine why people keep coming back here year after year.

this place was fantastic.i was in and out for 7 days with friends who were staying for a few months. its hard to write about such an experience. the resort was beautiful, everything was impeccably clean and the staff on site are great, they go out of their way to make thing perfect. the atmosphere was great. I had a chance to fish with a local guide "purely pelagic " and had the fishing trips of a lifetime. "thanks Ryan". I look forward to my next chance to go again

3br/1ba Cabin - Even better than pictured June 2022 My husband & I stayed in the 3br/1bath cabin the first week of June. It was only the 2 us but I wanted a large place where I could stay up late to work. We also wanted a place with a full kitchen and easy access as steps are difficult for him. I read a few reviews that gave me a few concerns of cleanliness and hot water, but it turned out our cabin was almost perfect. We had friends staying in a home in Lower Matecumbe Key. This was close enough for us to visit them frequently. The park has security which helps to keep out folks that should not be there. We really enjoyed our time there and hope to stay at Fiesta Key again in the future. Keep in mind my 5 star review is for a RV Resort. This is not a high end luxury resort.

Cons: The bathroom is small and has no shelf space or storage area for any of your toiletries. We like to plug in a sound spa at night and there was not an outlet on one side of the king bed. Luckily we had an extension cord and was able to make that work. The room with the small bed and washer/dryer connects to a 2br unit. There was only 1 night someone was staying in that unit, but we could hear voices loudly thru that wall. As we did not use that room, it was not an issue for us but it might be for others.

Pros: The cabin was as nice as it appeared in the online pictures. Everything was very clean, updated and nicely decorated. The kitchen was large and stocked with everything we needed. The dining room included a desk which worked out perfectly for me. The living room was spacious and comfortable. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. We only used the king size bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. BONUS- this unit had a washer/dryer in the room with the smaller bed. Another BONUS-although WIFI is not provided throughout most of the park, it is included in the 3br cabin as it is near the office. This unit is next to to playground on one side. The other side connects to a 2br unit and just past that is the campground store and a bathhouse. If you have a need for additional bathroom space, the bathhouse is very convenient. It isn’t far to walk to Sunset Point and the sunset is so beautiful there! We did not have a boat, but enjoyed walking around the marina. We did not use the pool as it requires steps to access it and my husband could not go up the steps. I did go up and look around and it and it looked very nice. We ate fish sandwiches for lunch at the restaurant and they were delicious. Our cabin was centrally located for walking to all areas of RV Resort. The cabin was great in the summer as the AC was nice and cold. However, if we were camping and spending more time outdoor we would prefer the spring or fall as the park is very hot in the summer. There is no shade and the white coral rock reflects the heat. We spent most of our time out on a boat with friends and traveling to other Keys. Fiesta Key Resort is a great...

Let me start out by saying my truck wouldn't start the morning of June 19 and I thought hope this is not a omen..I jumped it, me and my wife started the trip down to Fiesta Key... 6 hours later and a 275 dollar battery we show up and go check in the lady's were very nice explaining things until she got to the part of NO Cable TV....So we get to the cottage better off saying a TINY TRAILER..We put our stuff in there went for a walk was hungry so we was around the corner f r om the restaurant we ordered my wife and I two hamburgers and French fries one drink 50 dollars NASTY FOOD LET ME TELL U..So then we walked over to the pool looked around. My wife said you want me to tell you now or later I thought ohhh no what now She said this is NOT WORTH 1400 DOLLARS AT ALL FOR 3 NIGHTS. While we were eating I thought the exact same thing NO TV nothing to do you gotta drive to find something to do and two lane traffic getting back in there... night mare. was not our cup of tea to say the least waste of time and money..It took getting there being there the hour and a half we were to find out we hated it so we gathered our stuff went and told the front office this is not for us all they kept saying is have you read our reviews...WELL HERE IS MINE!!!!! Made my wife even madder and they still charged us 430 dollars for one night because we canceled early NEVER AGAIN..So it cost 430 dollars not to mention the battery and gas to get there to find out for ourselves and we also thought it was strange we were the only one's in the tiny cottages..NOT WORTH 1400 DOLLARS MAKES...
