I only gave 3 stars because my children and my friends children did have fun. But going forward all lifeguards need to be on the same page because all the male lifeguards had no issues with my 9 year old daughter sliding on the slide in the play pool we were never told she could not slide. Then when it rotated to two young white ladies they both addressed my child and I in turn addressed them and let them know she had been sliding with no issues until they came out and if it’s a rule why didn’t the male lifeguards enforce it. The only thing they blew the whistle on was any kids at the bottom of the slide which is understandable but most of us parents were in the pool monitoring that. We came as a group to celebrate my autistic twins birthday and when I had to address both of these girls because as a team they were not on the same page and giving mixed signals I let them know because as another person said in their reviews it felt a little bit racial. If it’s a rule there needs be a sign because as I told one lifeguard after she hurt my child’s feelings and left her sitting sad on the sidelines, she is a child too and I’m out here in the water monitoring my children to make sure they are not doing the wrong thing. I’m all about safety I’m a nurse but if there is a rule then the whole team needs to be enforcing it not just one or two. It’s a good place to take your children but the team that is operating it are not on the same page, which in turn can cause a lot of issues if you are dealing with the wrong parent. More...
Read moreThis place is a great Place, My kids had an amazing time today. We had a birthday party we attended here today (08/06/2017). But The life guard John was very rude to the kids. He addressed them in a very rude way yelling at them "Why are you in the pool you need to get out !" To an 11 year old little girl who was trying to take her little cousin out the pool. He addressed another little 4 year old yelling at him as well and an 8 year old boy. He should of not addressed the kids in that matter, he should of addressed the parents and in a respectful way. He was very hasten to leave, once 6:00 he quickly got up and started to tell the kids to get out in a undiplomatic way. I did not appreciate the way he approached my niece ( 11 year old girl) my 8 year old son and my very good friends 4 year old son. And when my sister approached John about the situation he was very disparaging. You guys should definitely make sure you have life guards that don't approach children in that manner. Your life guard (John) definitely needs to know how to approach children...
Read moreBeen a Member for years. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you lose your membership card, they don’t charge for a new one. Loads of showers and the changing rooms - it’s not The Hilton - are maintained and I’ve never seen a slippery floor in there in more than 10 years. There are lanes for serious swimmers and enough just for fun days in the sun. Plenty of loungers for everybody and spots for kids to romp and play in the sun. Always a life guard on duty when I have been there. Just started Aqua Aerobics today with the wonderful woman who used to provide it in Lake Worth pre-pandemic. Ample Parking. It’s a great place to go with your kids or just by yourself to get...
