Follow the signs from the main road down the long dirt path - itâs well-marked and easy to find your way. Along the way, youâll pass a cool area called "Cowboys and Indians," which looked awesome. They had axe throwing and other fun activities set up there.
When we arrived, there was plenty of parking, and we grabbed a shady spot under a big oak tree. As we walked up to the building, a couple of friendly guys opened the door for us and welcomed us in. Inside, a few workers greeted us and made small talk. The woman behind the counter didnât acknowlede us or say anything at first as we stood there - just asked if we had reservations. She wasnât the warmest, but it was fine.
We handed over our IDs, paid the balance, and were directed to sit at the picnic tables nearby. The pavilion there overlooks the water, which made for a nice spot to relax. While we waited, a guy named Matthew (with two Tâs) came over and gave us some fish food to feed the piranhas and turtlesâpretty fun! đ
The wait wasnât long before we got the rundown on the dos and donâts of using the four-wheelers. Theyâre clear that if you break something, youâre paying for itâthereâs even a posted price list for damages. Some of the gear looks a bit worn, but maybe thatâs intentional to keep people careful.
After the orientation, we headed over to a shed to get our helmets and goggles. They were thorough in making sure everything fit properly for safety, which we appreciated.
Our guide, J, was super friendly and easygoing. We lucked out with recent rain, so the trails werenât dustyâjust packed with some fun mud puddles. There were lots of trails, and theyâve done a great job adding scenic spots along the way. About halfway through, we paused for a photo before continuing. We chose the one-hour tour, which was a blast. If we had more time, we definitely wouldâve gone for the two-hour ride.
That said, the only downside is that the guided tour is very structured. If you're expecting to zoom around, do donuts, or fishtail, this isnât that kind of ride. You wonât just get up and go. Riders are spaced about 20 feet apart and follow a steady pace. Itâs more controlled and tame than what many might picture when they think of four-wheeling.
The place also has a food truck, a peacock area, fishing spots along with a floating dock, jet skis, screened in cabanas and more. Itâs a beautiful area with something for everyone in the family. Iâd absolutely go back - next time for a longer ride and to check out more of the activities. You could easily spend a full day there.
They donât pressure you to tip the guides, but they definitely make it easy- with QR codes and Cash App options clearly visible...

Read moreI had such a great time at Revolution Adventures with my nephew for our special "titi and nephew day!" We decided to try out the Mucky Ducky, and our drive from Davenport only took about 25 minutes. The route was pretty simple, but once we turned off the main road, I definitely recommend taking it slow since there are some dips in the road. A few more signs would have been helpful, though; I wasnât entirely sure we were heading in the right direction at times!
When we arrived, the receptionist greeted us and was super knowledgeable about all the rules and regulations for our adventure. Our guide for the day, Matthew, was awesome! He even brought us some icies to help us cool down before we got started. After going over the dos and don'ts of driving the vehicle, we were all set and ready to kick off our adventure! The views were absolutely stunning, and a major highlight was getting stuck in the mud and driving from land onto water!
We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to add an ATV adventure to our day. They offer both junior and adult ATVs, and according to the receptionist, my nephew needed a certification to ride the junior ATV because of Florida state law. She was so helpful, assisting us in finding the website and helping us set up an account. My nephew completed the course and got his certification in just about an hour and a half!
For the ATV ride, Matthew was our guide again. Before we hit the trails, he gave us some fish food to feed the fresh water fish in the lake, and it was so entertaining to watch them jumping onto land! He explained all the safety protocols and walked us through the features of the ATVs. The ride was a total blastâsuper muddy and full of fun! We went through tons of hills, twists, and turns, all at a nice, moderate speed. My hand did get a bit numb after a while, but Matthew was really attentive, checking in on us throughout the whole experience. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I can't...
