Absolutely incredible experience 1) The course - it is in phenomenal shape. It's not a long course but one that punishes any lack of accuracy. Greens were pristine and rolled true. Pace of play was quick but also the course was just not busy. They do a great job of spacing but also the course and membership isn't oversubscribed 2) The range and practice facility was great. Nice area for chipping and putting. The putting-only green is actually a shared green with the 18th hole, which is a neat experience in and of itself. It's a max distance of 250 since it's in a neighborhood but that shouldn't be an issue to dial in whatever you need 3) The staff - probably the best part all around. The pro-shop, bag drop, on-course marshals, starter - all absolute class acts. Made us feel incredibly welcome, were extremely knowledgable and helpful. We met the head of golf on the course and he gave us some tips (we asked, he wasn't pushy at all) - very helpful. Many times a pro-shop attending, or starter are just reciting rules but our experience was much better. I'll be joining as a member now - excited to play here more!

Absolutely atrocious. For what we paid to play here I’m beyond disappointed. The course is simply not what it pretends to be. My local muni has better conditions and amenities than this glorified goat track rebranded as a prestigious country club. This place might be nice in a few years but for now it’s no better than it was when it was a public course, at triple the original greens fees. Horrible fairways, so many areas still under construction. I will say the greens were absolutely pure and the assistant pro was awesome but other than that, there is really nothing to praise. In the Destin area there are so many better courses to play. Unfortunately, this one is a must pass for me in the future.

I really enjoyed playing the Santa Rosa course. Played from the blue tees, and thought it was challenging, but with scoring opportunities available. If you are hitting your driver straight, you will have a lot of mid to short irons into the receptive greens. There is just enough water to keep you aware of where you should leave your misses. The greens seemed a little sandy, but rolled perfectly, and stayed on line. The club house and practice facilities were top notch. Only to be matched by the courteous and friendly staff. Can't wait to play there again.

Don't bother.....The course was average and gimmicky. Several 90 degree doglegs and sub 350 yard holes. The condition was not bad, but it wasn't emaculat either. The practice facilities were sub par, which brings me to my real problem. After my round, we drove back over to the driving range. After about 15 minutes the head "cart boy" drove his cart right up on the range and told us we had to leave. I made sure he knew we had paid for and just finished a round, but he said it didn't matter, that he had already let us hit for 15 minutes and that access to the range was only allowed pre-round. I was shocked and a little embarrassed so I decide to run in and let the pro shop know that they had a rogue cart boy. They informed me that although they were unaware of a pre/post round driving range policy, he was just doing his job. Well done Santa Rosa Golf Club using your cart boys in a dual role as customer relations agents. I really enjoyed laying out several hundred dollars in your establishment and then getting run off by a 42 year old cart boy with bad breath and bed head. Thanks again for the average golf and...

Hey I liked this course like I like virtually all golf courses. It played well, is in good shape, the greens were very fast and rolled true. Every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant, but then, I'm a friendly guy. I'm 67, have been playing about 15 years and have played literally all over the country. I had a very enjoyable round of golf here and the only drawback I could see was the price. $91 and change w/ the tax is very pricey, but I was willing to pay it, and would pay it again if we are back here. Carts are new and immaculate. Range was nice and convenient and part of the green fee. Bunkers are well sanded w/ white sand. Challenges for all level of player. Risk/reward shots abound. I'm an 18 handicap and I shot an 87. They don't allow you to walk if you're not a member. This irks me slightly, but I totally see...
