TPC Prestancia Sarasota's Private Golf, Social and Sports Club — Local services in Florida

I went here for a Christmas luncheon. We spent $45 a head for a limp salad with no dressing, a roll with butter, a piece of dried out, reheated chicken Marsala & a tablespoon of sautéed yellow squash with 4 fingerling potatoes. There were no bread plates or spoons. And dessert was store-bought cookies! The service was meh. Difficult to get water glass refilled and adult beverages ordered. The decorations were lame in the dining room. A lone Christmas tree in the corner. You might belong to prestancia , but it misses the mark. Not a good venue, not a good view for overpriced “luxury”. We held a beautiful wedding celebration at the golf club and everything exceeded all of our expectations, from the food, to the service, to the extraordinary newly renovated rooms and scenery. The course and grounds accommodated our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the ballroom was perfect for a lovely night of dancing and celebration. Compared to a place like the Ritz Carlton Members Course, Prestancia was more expensive and not nearly as high as quality. Sand traps were ideal. Exactly what you would expect at a TPC. Downhill from there. Driving Range was matts only. No ice in cooler and an old apple core. No assistance with bags at your car, and we had an 8:01 tee time.
