DG Market — Local services in Follansbee District

I've been wanting to stop in here for a while and I'm glad I finally did. Lots of grocery items that the regular DG doesn't carry, like fresh produce, meat, I even saw an isle for beer and other alcoholic beverages. Prices are the same as any DG, just seems like their inventory is a little bigger. Clean store and well organized. The only complaints I have is that there was only 1 register open with more than 10 people in line with full carts, and 2 people working at the same register. Also the checkout counter is extremely small (I'm talking like maybe a 2'-3' space). Seeing that this is a Market where you can buy groceries and pretty much anything else you need, the counter should probably be big enough to support at least half of what you put in your buggy. Today, the cashier, Amanda Underwood, at register 4 refused to bag my items and didn’t even acknowledge she had a CUSTOMER. She does not fit the description of friendly customer service. Get rid of her and find someone with a personality!! She didn’t greet me, she didn’t bag my items, and she didn’t even talk to me....

Friendly service. ALways greeted with a welcome upon entering the stoee.Isles are not over flowing with boxes of merchandise needing shelved like I've encountered in a lot of the dollar generals I have visited. It would be nice to see the mingo store transformed into a Dollar...
