8.18.24. My boyfriend and I came down on saturday and took the jet skis out on sunday. we saw the lighthouse in the distance and drove the water way to lighthouse inlet. what an amazing find! It was almost low tide and it was easy to beach the jet skis and explore this empty island. There were probably four other boats, and maybe two dozen people on the entire island, enjoying it just like we did. We found huge shells, sand dollars and the dolphins were swimming about three feet away from us. The couple next to us had a dog named hank, who was very friendly and came over for our picnic. Great adventure and will be back!

One of my absolute favorite places on Folly Beach to visit. Gorgeous Lighthouse views that serve as inspiration for many of the photos I take out there. An amazing place to watch either the sun rise or the full moon rise. I've seen dolphins by moonlight or sunrise on occasion out here too.

Love love love this place. The walk is amazing, the sand is great. You have some wonderful views! We saw dolphins, and all sorts of shore birds. Peaceful. Parking is kinda a pain, but we make it work!

One of my favorite getaway places. It can be very busy and hot in the summer so take a bottle of water or two and wear sunscreen. Anytime of year is a good time to visit. One of the few places left without hotels everywhere. Beautiful beach, old lighthouse, and...
