I purchased a folding bed, under what they say their business name is "KOMFOTT", through Amazon then wasn't able to use it and returned it. The return label they furnished through Amazon's return process was merely an address label and not a QR code that is usual for returning items.
I ended up paying $217.77 for return shipping via UPS. The bed cost $242.18.
The man at the UPS store gave me the Amazon Customer Service phone number which I called.
I am elderly and getting a 47 pound package to UPS was quite a challenge. I didn't realize I'd be on the hook for the return shipping. So I had to pay the shipping cost because it would too hard for me to put the big, heavy box back in my car.
Amazon Customer Service has told me they'd be able to refund the shipping fee but they merely messaged "KOMFOTT" which they answered they "don't have the right to refund my shipping cost."
I have contacted Amazon Customer Service three times already in which they made all kinds of promises but ending up not doing anything.
Doing a Google query on the address KOMFOTT gave me to return the item, their business name is actually this business "Costway". Notice they don't furnish a phone number.
Further investigation shows this company has complaints from customers a mile long.
This is the address KOMFOTT gave me to return the item:
KOMFOTT 11250 Poplar Ave Bldg C Fontana, CA, 92337 Phone: 234567

Ordered one of their Patiojoy patio sets directly from Lowes. One of the chairs cannot be assembled because one of the threaded inserts is threaded incorrectly. Lowes no longer has the set in stock and recommended we contact Costway directly. We contacted a representative who appeared to have difficulty understanding that we need the chair replaced. Round and round and round to no avail. So, word of caution. If you have a problem with one of their items, you may not be able to have your issue resolved
In response to Costway's response about not finding my order number
Sure, I'll try contacting you for the 4th time to get this resolved, but I won't hold my breath. If my issue gets resolved this time, I'll be happy to change the number of stars for this review. If not, I'll leave as is. For those of you who read reviews, I'll update by 7/18/2025 (1 week out) because I think that's plenty of time for this company to get this resolved or not
*Final Update 7/15/2025 Costway is unable to resolve this issue. Despite calling them and sending an email along with receipt identifying the item, they are unable to determine what the item is and state they are unable to access any information for items they send to 2ndry distributors like Lowes. Lesson learned. Don't buy items made/distributed by Costway. They don't stand by their items. If I could give 0...
Read moreI ordered a coffee table from Giantex (also known as Costway). When it arrived, I immediately noticed that the color was noticeably different from the one shown in the catalog photos. Since I would have had to cover the return shipping costs myself, I decided to keep it and continue using it.
Unfortunately, after just four months of indoor use, the table started to warp and was no longer flat. I’ve attached photos and a video to show the issue. I reached out to the company with the evidence, but they informed me that their warranty only covers 90 days—so they refused to take any action.
I regret not ordering it through Amazon. At least Amazon has better customer service and would likely have helped in a...
